This 3D printed gear ball is a fun and engaging toy for relieving stress. The gears move smoothly, and it’s satisfying to play with, making it a good desk toy. However, it is a bit large for a fidget ball, so it’s not as easy to handle one-handed as I’d like. Still, it’s a great option if you’re looking for something different to help with focus or relaxation!

Arrived in plain white box with no instructions how to use it!!

This is a work of genius, with a series of gears, which when manually manipulated, opens up a ball in to a flower and petals. As a fidget toy, the gears aren't as slick as I would like. It seems durable enough, the gears do not get jammed. The pressure required makes it less fidget, more manual dexterity, which isn't scratching quite the same itch.This falls more in to the category of being a simple and very cool looking toy, which offers some instant gratification. Although its application is limited, it presents good value as a gift.

The movement of this spin ball is quite fascinating to watch but I think better as a video than in reality due to the poor quality of the finish. The layers of the 3d printing are shown very clearly but it doesn't just add texture, it adds roughness and makes the whole thing much less tactile than it should. It arrives in a plain white box as a ball and can be twisted into a long shape through a few variations but the movement is stiff and a bit disappointing. I was looking forward to my fidgetty 11 year old playing with this but she doesn't enjoy it at all.

There are things that I like and things that drive me crazy as they should not have been an issue in the first place. Its almost as if the manufacturers were half hearted when designing and making this product.The design spectacular show cases mechanical dynamics in the world of cogs, however its been built to loosely and as a result of that the cogs do not run anywhere near as smooth as they could have. I really love the colour however its terribly 3D painted rough textured and not as pleasant a feel as it could have been. The motion between flower/lily pad to sphere is clunky because of the loose components, once in a sphere there is a large empty cavity on one side.Its frustrating as this could be extremely good, but as it is right now its not worth it. It causes more stress then it will every relieve. On the bright side I tried to trap my fingers and failed, so its safe for use at least.Sadly I don't think I would recommend this one, even though I would love too, in my opinion its nor yet a finished product more of a prototype,

This is a very tactile and beautiful fidget toy use. It's calming and hypnotic to play with a combination of the cool to touch material, the smoothness of the motion and the changing of the metallic colours. Love it.

This is a whole new level of fidget toy. The clever design and mezmerizing interactions of the gears make this a fascinating piece. My only complaint with it is that for someone looking to fidget, it isn't actually the smoothest thing to operate. There is no obvoius way to handle it so it is never in constant motion and the action can be a bit stiff so the smooth movement the user will be hoping for is hard to achieve (though over time and with more use this may improve). Overall I still thing this is an amazing little device but it does have those little basic flaws, causing me to take a star.

This takes away any fun I might have had playing with it and my husband avoids it too as the horrible sound grates on his nerves.
