Hey it works.
The little solar panel keeps it charged fully all the time, hasn't died on me as it has decent power but it's definitely a personal fan.

Great for when you lose power!
I just went through Hurricane Beryl and lost power for 3 days. I was one of the lucky ones that got it back fairly quick, but it seemed like an eternity at the time. With a dog and a cat, who were both thoroughly confused, I needed a fan and light other than candles. My son lent me his heavy duty light and fan that he uses on construction sites, and that helped a lot, but I needed something of my own for next time. Honestly, I need more than one, but this was a test to see how well they work.1. The fan - the fan has 4 speeds and is very quiet. When you have no power, a quiet fan doesn't really matter, the air output does. If you are using it for every day use, the quiet is very nice. The air output is so-so. The last setting, which is the strongest, was just okay. Better than nothing and would be good for an office or something, but you would need more than one for sure to keep cool in a power outage. It is on the smaller side, I would say medium sized compared to most desk fans.2. The light - You can only upload one video with your pictures when you review an item, which I dislike, but I chose to upload the light video. The fan video really just demonstrates how quiet it is when you increase the speeds. The light video isn't perfect either. It is hard to capture the difference in brightness, but it does get very bright. There are 3 levels of brightness and they all put off a good amount of light, but the 3rd level was really bright and definitely would help keep your room brighter during a power outage. I really like the light feature a lot.3. Solar Power - I have not been able to test if this works or not because the fan/light came charged. I need to let it run down so that I can test the solar charge out. At first, I thought they sent me the wrong fan. The box mentions absolutely nothing about the solar charge ability. There are no instructions in the box that mention the included solar panel at all. It seems pretty basic and easy to figure out... I think. It would be nice to have a brief explanation of how to use the solar panel, where to place it and how long, etc.4. Versatility - It is nice that there is a hook built in that gives you the ability to hang the fan/light. This would be useful in a garage for sure or when working on a car.Overall, I think this is a nice looking fan/light that so far works very well. The fan isn't going to blow you away, but in closer proximity, it will help cool you down and is quiet when doing so. The light is awesome! Please include instructions for the solar panel so that we know exactly what to do to ensure it charges the fan correctly. In a situation like a hurricane, in the days after it is important to have an alternative way to keep your things charged which is why I picked the solar option.

Pretty Good Fan
We have a few of these types of fans from various manufacturers but I was looking for another one for working in the shop. Overall, I like this fan and it seems to work quite well. If you look at the video, you will see the different fan speeds as well as the light intensity options. The light is average at best but not anything special; for camping and other activities like that it should work fine. The fan has a surprisingly good amount of air flow, especially at the higher settings. The solar panel charges but I am not sure at what rate or if it would keep up to the output from using the fan or not. I will also say that the solar panel seems rather flimsy, and time will tell how well it holds up. They give you different options for positioning the fan including allowing you to tilt it and also hang it by a hook that is tucked away on the bottom. In the instructions (I included a photo) they suggest that you turn off the fan while charging which seems counterintuitive to having the solar panel or any sort of charging set. When I am using these portable fans, I want to be able to keep on using them even while charging. Now, I have portable fans that say you can keep using them and others like this one that say you should not, I am not sure why not or what the difference is between them. I will say that I have used this one (and my other like it) while charging without an issue but I do keep an eye on it. Not much more to be said on this one, I like this fan and so far, no real issues but if something does come up, I will be sure to come back and update my review.
