These are great for practice. Absorbent, comfortable, and easy to slide on over shin guards. Even when put in the dryer, they don't shrink up over time (the more pricey synthetic ones become VERY difficult to pull over shin guards if you regularly put them through the dryer). I found they were durable too, 5 pairs lasted about 1 year of travel soccer (2x week practice, 1-2 games per weekend, fall/winter/spring/summer seasons all included). Finally poked a hole in the end of the toe. Cheaper to buy new ones than mend the hole in the toe.Helpful advice:* Check the sizing. Most sport sock sizing is Youth through Adult. It only takes 4 sizes of sock to cover the entire range of shoe sizes from pee-wee to adult. A "large" is an adult sized sock.* The material is Coolmax, so though it feels thicker, the material wicks the sweat away to be evaporated. Its thick in the footbed area to reduce blisters.* They feel soft but they are not cotton, thus they don't get wet and heavy. When I pull these from the washer to the dryer, the don't feel any heavier than the best synthetic Adidas socks we also own.* They are solid color with only the adidas logo at the front. So if you like the stripes showing at the top of the sock, you'll need to find a different sock.Adidas ended this sock and the 'Metro' seems to take its place. I wish they hadn't. My son likes these Field Sock II's better than the Metro.

The Adidas field II sock is one of the best basic socks available with a very good comfort level. They wear out quickly however and that is the price you pay for that comfort. Package was advertised as a 2 pack, I received only one pair.

My son if 4'5" tall. Regular socks pull up to his thighs yet are so tight that they cut off his blood circulation:) We bought the Unisex Rivalry and this style. He chose this one because they are softer than the Rivalrys and they aren't as long. Bought them in small and medium and ended up keeping both sizes since there was a marginal difference between the two. Am about to purchase many more pairs of these. Highly recommended!!

When I first opened these I thought they were going to be too big. They looked really long and when my daughter tried them on they came way above her knee. I washed them and they were fine. Still a little long but with her shin guards on they did the job.

Purchased these soccer socks for my six year old son and they fit excellent and do not fade out when washed (like many other brands). They are well made and are designed to correctly hold shin pads under the sock for kids. My son has been using them for six months now and they are holding up well with no weak areas, tears or rips. So far these socks are five stars.

The size was perfect, my son's shoe size is 7 (kids) and this was a perfect fit. The lenght was good as well as the ease of putting it on. Most soccer socks are very tight and it is a struggle to get them on. This was not. My only bad comment about the sock is the quality. After 3 washes it began to look like he has been wearing it for years which is unusual for an Adidas product. Overall, it is a good buy for lack of other choices. I have been looking for one that would go over his guard without difficulty for a while so I am glad I found something even though the quality is not as good. For me, it is better than having to struggle with putting the socks on before every game & practice.

These are very soft and yet strong and stretchy. Easy to get on my 4 year olds foot. I got a small and they are a little big in the foot, he wears size 13 but it doesn't bug him or get in the way. They come up to his thighs but that's ok. We have some others we bought at the store and these are his favorite.

If you are tired of trying to help squeeze your kids socks ON, and then trying to pry sweaty gross socks OFF your kid---THESE are the solution! They slide on over shin guards, easy!! Roll the cuff down and they stay put. Son wears size 8 mens shoe, bought Large. Will order millions of these and toss all the panty-hose tight soccer socks!
