What is a SlingShirt? SlingShirt is a patent pending, post-surgery shirt, specifically engineered for anyone required to wear a sling. Utilizing embedded magnets, this unique, patent pending design enables an individual to dress independently without compromising the injured arm. SlingShirt is also the solution for the most critical time after shoulder or elbow surgery...helping the patient get dressed!  Is SlingShirt easy to put on and off? Yes! Since the shirt opens and attaches with magnets, it’s very easy to slip the shirt on with your ‘good arm’ and reach over and attach the magnets on the shoulder, sleeve and down the side. The same is the case when taking-off SlingShirt, especially for those subsequent follow-up doctor/rehab visits. Very easy for the doctor to remove the shirt to exam the surgery area. Can I wear a SlingShirt in public? Absolutely! That’s another reason this shirt was invented. We wanted to provide a practical shirt to help patients during the difficult recovery time, but as importantly, to look good in public. People will find it hard to tell you’re wearing a shirt with magnets. They’ll think you have on a fashionable, high-end t-shirt. Is SlingShirt comfortable enough to sleep in? Yes. Patients end up sleeping in their SlingShirt, especially the first few days after surgery. We suggest purchasing a minimum of 2 SlingShirts, so you have one to sleep in. Is SlingShirt one size fits all? No, SlingShirt is unisex with sizes from Small to XXXXL. The Sizing guide is available in the products photos. For How To Videos, Search SlingShirt on YouTube!

WAY Undersized
Great Idea, great name, nicely advertised and quality manufactured. That is where the good points endThe one I received is either mis-marked for the size or these run REALLY, Really small.I normally wear an XXL knit shirt and I ordered the XXXL. I doubt what arrived would be classified by normal person as XL it was probably closer to a Large. To add a little insult to injury, the seller will deduct the cost or return shipping from my refundWell getting some of my money back is still better then getting none of my money back. I need to pay more attention and just by PRIME products from now onBTW, there is a similar product with a Velcro closure that runs nice and large and has plenty of room for your recently reconstructed shoulder,. Best part is the cost is about $10 cheaper than this undersized SlingShirt

I just had major collarbone surgery and this shirt is excellent. The shirt is comfortable and has improved my post surgery time significantly. I saw other shirts that attached with velcro and just don't think that can possibly be comfortable. Also its made to "vent" when wearing a sling which is a huge plus. Without question, I would buy this shirt again if I'm ever having surgery like that again. It does have some room for improvement---the magnets don't really keep the shirt entirely together all day while wearing, nothing a couple safety pins doesn't solve- but it's worth noting.

Didn't work for me
If you are an athletic male not concerned at all about skin showing, you're fine. There simply are not enough magnets close enough together for this shirt to provide any amount of modesty for a woman with any breasts at all. This shirt had promise of being the best one of 3 I ordered, but I only wore it once and I my sister kept chasing after me to try to adjust the shirt so the gaps between magnets would not leave me so exposed to my visitors. It needs twice as many magnets to make sure there are no gaping holes, sides and sleeve. A total waste of money if you're a woman. EDITED 10-6. I will add that the CEO of the company has amazing customer service skills. After my negative review was initially posted she reached out, refunded my money in full and reimbursed me shipping costs. She says the product was originally designed for women. She thinks I ordered a size too large, but I continue to disagree. There simply are not enough magnets. There needs to be 2x as many, spaced closer together. At the same time I ordered this I ordered another type with snaps. That one certainly took care of the "gap" issues but I found a few of the snaps hard to manage with just one hand. That's where the magnet concept is much better.

It does not stay in place!!!!
this shirt didn't work. It doesn't stay on because the magnets are not strong enough. I would not recommend it

Way too expensive for poor quality
My wife had shoulder surgery and we were instructed to buy this particular shirt. The magnets just wouldn't stay together and it was a constant struggle. Snaps or buttons would be a much better way to go, in my opinion. We bought 2 and ended up not even using them.

Didn’t cut it.
Very soft fabric which I liked. However, magnets were difficult to work with and frustrating without help. I was often unable to do more than just the shoulder so my side would be bare with the flaps of the sides in the wind. I am not sure if the care directions said to dry on a hanger or flat but in the dryer, one magnet would grab on to the inside of my machine and twist repeatedly. I really liked the concept of the shirt but was disappointed.

Good idea, didn't perform as hoped
Ran a bit small, although a good idea, found it to be difficult to hook up, magnets came undone, material pilled after two washes in cold water on gentle cycle.

A MUST HAVE ITEM! Worked great for our daughter's fractured shoulder!
Really great idea, great shirt. Trying to put on any top, even button up tops, over a newly fractured shoulder was very painful. This shirt was a real lifesaver. Suggest you buy the shirt big enough so the magnets will stay together properly while moving around. We had a medium for a 5'9 108# female which worked fine. This may be a rare occurrence, but one time we washed the shirt in our top loading machine, the magnets caused the shirt to get stuck under the agitator.
