Terry Pratchett's Discworld Imaginarium

I discovered discworld serveral years back, and when reading, I often found myself looking to see what these characters look like or if an interpretation existed. They do. Several artist have worked on this series, but none seem to bring Sir Pratchett’s work quite like Kidby. Upon discovering this book I immediately had to have it. It’s a beautiful book, full of illustrations that are absolutely remarkable and it helped visualize the books I’ve been reading. Wonderful collection!

I showed this book to a family member who wasn't really familiar with Terry Pratchett and I surprised us both with how many characters and their backgrounds I could identify through the amazing art. This book is worth it for any Pratchett fan!

Given I'm a Discworld fan and Paul Kidby's art fits with it like Tenniel's fits the Alice books. And suddenly here is a whole volume of glorious Kirby art I can fit on my tablet. What's not to like?

Great Artist paired with a great Author. These pictures really capture the essence of the Discworld and its characters. I'm so glad we are able to zoom in to see the details of the artwork but it would have been even better if the images had been scanned in at a higher resolution. Some are quite low resolution.

The shipping was incredibly fast.Now I'm a Pratchett fan. No way would I ever DISLIKE anything by him, or any artwork based on his works. Ok? But I was just overwhelmed by the genuine high quality of this work. It's very much worth what I spent on it.

Mostly a reprint of artwork from other books. If you have bought Art of Discworld and the Last Hero you would have the majority of what is in here.

Art.And here you get lots of it by someone who knows and loves this world as we do.I want more of this.

The media could not be loaded.  Definitivamente esse é o meu livro companion favorito. Também é um dos livros mais bonitos que tenho e o maior da estante (em AxL). Esse livro é perfeito para ilustradores e aficionados, seja por ilustrações ou por Terry Pratchett.

A must have for any fan of the series! Absolutely beautiful!
