Is this legal?
I use the device and pick up hundreds of channels, most with Chinese subtitles. Having said this, I get many movie channels for free like HBO and Starz. The movie selection, as well as television series, is relatively fantastic. Having said this, the legality of the device seems questionable. Set up is a little tricky if you do not know Chinese. The unbelievable movie selection may be enough to overcome the tricky navigation. Please note that English menus are available, except for things like search functions.

Add cDVR feature (catch up TV) for Japanese TV and it would be a perfect 5!!
Awesome little android box full of apps. Depending on what you’re looking for, you’ll only use a few apps. I only use for Japanese VOD, as for live I use iSakura. The only thing missing is cDVR feature like iSakura where you can watch 2 weeks back for every channels.

Foreign shows? Get it
Bought this for my parents so they can watch Korean shows. Quality is amazing. Only downside is you need fast internet and main language is chinese. Wish they got more language option like Korean. If you are trying to watch foreign shows or sport like world cup without having to search it on the web, this is the product for you. If you are trying to replace cable for American shows do not get it. I haven't seen any major channels except HBO.

Received the product so fast! The TW version is much better and faster than the older version. Note that this is Android 7.0, which is quite different from Android 5.1.
