Great product to protect windows.
This product is great for the hunting dogs and the Squirls that drive them nuts. Cons: I have a long window and we tried to apply 1 long strip, but that just would not work, it’s like it is not quite straight, but we ended up cutting it in half and it worked, but there were still areas that pleated that we could not get the tape to flatten completely. Pro’s: it sticks well, comes off easily, and we tested it over and over when we tried to get it to lay flat on our long window. We must have tried 10 or more times before we cut it in half, and it all still stuck on just fine. We also put the plastic window claw guard over this tape, but used the tape to protect the part that the plastic guards did not cover. YES, I would recommend this to anyone, but could only give 4 stars only because we had such a hard time to get it to lay flat on a longer window. Everything else about this product, 5 stars.

Cat scratches
This is perfect for on my window sills . My cats scratch them with their back claws. This works great and it's clear.

Easy to use
This product works very well. You can cut to size, it’s easy to assemble, sticks very well, deterred my cats and is serving its purpose. My personal issue with it is that I am a blanket person, so my couches have blankets draped over them in a few areas and they stick to this tape very well! So I’m constantly peeling the tape off by accent when grabbing a blanket that got stuck to it. That’s not a manufacturer issue though, that’s a personal issue. I just mention it because it’s not something I thought of until it happened. So if you’re like me and have blankets draped on your couches, be prepared to be replacing the tape often! Luckily there’s plenty of tape in the huge roll so you won’t run out quickly.

Not helpful
It’s hardly sticky while, though it’s easy to use… it really isn’t functional for very long. Also if it even slightly gets lint on it, it will look disgusting and unappealing which i think is counter productive being i think it’s clear for a reason. The only plus side is that it is a decent size and does the job for about 2 days and after that isn’t sticky enough to stay on the surface you originally place it on.

Great Cat Deterrent
This review is for the “Matte Single Sided” version of the Panther Armor Frosted anti-scratch tape. I received 2 rolls of 4” x 20’ tape. The vendor offers other sizes and versions such as glossy tape and double sided sticky tape. I just wanted to offer that information as there seems to be some concern as to what folks received in some of the reviews. So far I have applied this tape to my Arts & Crafts style recliner and my friend’s two Queen Anne style chairs. All three chairs have curves and lots of nooks and crannies. It took time, patience, and some creativity, but I am happy with the results. I can’t say the same for my cats. It was easier to use small pieces of tape in areas where the upholstery was curved or had folds. I also cut some slits along the edge of the tape to make it lay flat along the curved edges of the upholstery. It helps if you overlap your pieces of tape a little. Otherwise you risk having some of the upholstery being exposed. The tape has peel away paper with grid lines for easy trimming and placement. I had to reposition a couple of pieces and didn’t have any problem with adhesion afterwards. My cats can’t figure out why they can’t scratch my recliner. The look on their faces is priceless.

A little awkward to install but it works
I haven't tried double-sided scratch protector before. This tape is quite a bit thinner than most of the other scratch protectors I've used, and it can be a little odd to try to peel off the second side backing after you've applied the tape to something, particularly if it's a soft surface. You have to kind of use the removed backing to push the tape back down so your hands don't stick.I used this tape on a couch in an attempt to stop a cat from jumping up and climbing with her claws. Less than ten minutes after applying it she tried, and had enough trouble getting up to the top of the couch that I don't think she'll try again.

Decent stickiness but too thin
The product works in that once my cat touches it they pull away not liking how it feels. The plastic is razor thin and rips easily so it offers no protection if my cat ignores the discomfort. In my opinion this product would work better if the plastic was much thicker so the claws can't penetrate it so easily. Covering my entire leather sofa in sticky tape isn't practical and looks terrible.

Inaccurate description of the product
Nowhere on the product description page it states that it can remove paint from the furniture when taken off. However, on the item packet it clearly states that product can remove furniture paint when taken out.We would never like to spoil out furniture by using such a product just to prevent scratches and later the paint coming out when tape removed from it

Just doesn’t work for strong pets
I honestly don’t know how this product gets such high ratings which is why I chose to buy this in the first place. I used this for my small/medium size dog on wooden window panels and on a metal door frame. In both cases my dog was able to scratch a hole in the plastic and ripped the entire plastic off even though I stuck it on really well and left it for several days. I would not recommend this.

Only for hard surfaces
Did not last even 24 hours on our bedframe. Bought it because I saw people using it for their couch but it does not stick to fabric.
