SleepOn had all the criteria I was looking for and also the best small size for comfort
Recently my doctor prescribed a sleep study (which has not yet occurred). I was skeptical that I have Apnea so I looked for a product at a reasonable price to measure sleeping oxygen level. SleepOn had all the criteria I was looking for and also the best small size for comfort. So I took a chance (because there has been no reviews) and I am quite glad I did. The product arrived within 6 days (so you can ignore the stated expectation time). The packaging was excellent. The device comes with three finger size adapters that stretch to accommodate most any finger comfortably. The device comes with a USB to Mini cable and a small white charging base. It charged up within a few hours. The APP is available from Apple or Google app stores and is easy to get started with a minimum of personal vitals to declare (age, weight, etc.). Put the device onto a finger down to the knuckle and invoke the app and go to sleep. The device will monitor until it is removed (it knows when it is on your finger and assumes that is your intended start of the sleep period). If you get up at night and move away from the app while wearing the device it will lose contact and know that you are up; or you can remove the device until you return to sleep more (the sleep periods are recorded cumulatively). What you will really like is the report you get in the morning. Your overall quality of sleep and compared to the general population. Sleep time shown as deep sleep, light sleep, and REM durations, heart rate graph, blood oxygen graph, and even "toss and turn times". I found that I have good to excellent sleep with mild to minimal Apnea occurrences. You get the day report, cumulative week report, and cumulative month report. My evaluation is that the device is quite accurate and the reports are comprehensive, informative, and easy to read. I suspect that I will not need a sleep respirator and I am glad to have data to show the doctor.

Good product, needs some upgrades
I'm the perfect market for this product. I am 50, have sleep apnea and want to know how I sleep every night. I had been looking for a Sleep Apnea specialized product, and this is it.The device is very well designed, small, comfortable, light and aesthetically pleasing. Very easy to sleep with it as opposed to a bulky watch or bracelet. You do forget that it's in your finger. The charging dock is also great design. The device also connects through bluetooth flawlessly, and sync works great. Battery life is pretty good, and lasts a few days, but you must charge it at least every 3 days or it will die in the middle of the night with no warning. The device works through an SPO2 sensor, a pulse oximeter in 2 wavelengths. Though the design of the device is quite innovative, it's not particularly innovative to use this sensor in a wearable, as I have it on my cheap Chinese bracelet that I got for less than $40. With regards to accuracy of read it's physically better to read from the finger, though it really is anyone's guess whether the readings on any of these wearables are actually accurate until they get some sort of certification. And therein lies the weaknesses of the offering, starting with the App. The App looks and feels pretty much like the App that came with my cheap Chinese bracelet, formatting, grammar and spelling errors included. Though the recent upgrade made it at least bearable, it's still a long way from giving me what I need as a User of the device, starting with more detail of events during the night as well as the ability to download all raw information from the device into a format that I can see and analyze more. There is much upgrade needed in the app, and in the data access and manipulation, though it's going in the right direction. Again, for $130 I would expect a much more of an App than one that looks like a hack from the one I get from any of these under $40 Chinese bracelets. The takeaway is that if you dont know if you have sleep apnea and want to get a good guess, at home for $130, then you have no better bet than this. No other wearable comes close to being able to detect sleep apneas or other irregularities than this one. That said, this is, in no way, a replacement for a REAL sleep test, which is what you need if you suspect you may have Sleep Apnea. This is a serious condition that must be detected by tried and tested medical devices. However, if you already know that you have it, it's hard to justify the expense for a device that, though I'd happily wear nightly, I cant know for sure the accuracy of its readings, that the information is not as thorough and intuitive as I'd like in order to better understand my condition, and that my data is trapped inside the App, without any means of downloading.Though an excellent first product to market, I'll wait until this product is all that it can be to really recommend it.

I wanted to love it.
The good--it appears to be a fairly quality made item. The selection of bands is nice for sizing. Holds a charge well. I like the look of it, smooth and functional. It doesn't interfere with my sleep, very comfortable. The bad--the app is hard to get information from easily. It would be easier if I could access the info from a larger screen, like a tablet or PC. The letters run together on the app because it is not well put together so it takes some time to figure out what is what. / The information doesn't always match up with my Fitbit, which based on my sleep log is mostly accurate./ And the reason I gave it only two stars is because in the short time I have been using the sleep monitor, it has missed two nights of sleep when I was wearing it. It was charged, powered on and on my left ring finger. It just didn't show up on the app.I am not returning this item, I will continue to use it. I am hoping the company will update the app and really improve the functionality of the unit. It has potential. If the company updates the app and makes this device better it will be my pleasure to change my review and rating.

It works sometimes and not sometimes
When it is working, I really like the ring. But ... It hasn't worked off and on - and not at all for the last few nights. It takes 24 hours to get a response from the vendor - so each morning they give me advice on what to do to make it work. Sometimes I don't know where to fine the information they ask for or how to do what they want, so it is often two days before I can try anything new. I will be returning the ring shortly if it continues to not work.
