Both sides of the block are magnetic so you are able to get a decent amount of knives on it. It can be really handy to simply grab the knife needed since it is right there. It is made from beautiful wood. The product comes with the screws and Allen wrench needed to quickly assemble.CONS - Only the top of the block is magnetic and therefore the knives can only go left to right, not up and down. Grabbing the knives is a bit crowded since the knives can only go left to right. If the knives could go left to right AND up and down, it would be more convenient when grabbing a knife since one side could be left to right and the other side could be up and down.OVERALL - This is a handy knife block but would be even more convenient if the user could experiment with how to organize their knives.Thank you for reading my review!
