Size Matters - wide is not wide without work
Size Purchased: 9 WideVenting: there is no such thing as standardized sizing in shoes & clothing, it all depends on the brand what size you wear and even that can vary.Reason Purchased: Arch Support with the ability to wear support socks for varicose veins. I assumed slides would be a little cooler than wearing enclosed shoes and socks during the summer.Pros: comfortable once you get them stretched out. Has arch soft arch supportCons: wide is really not wide. At first I could hardly get them on without socks, but they are a soft pliable rubber like material. So they stretch, wore them for a few days barefoot and now I can get them on with socks. Although they still need to be stretched out a little more. The rubber material and tightness makes them a little on the warm side, even though they are an open shoe.If I bought them again I would size up, not sure if that would make a difference in the width. Depending on the brand and whether I were socks my shoe size can vary between a 9 and a 10.5.

Narrow feet should size down!
Love my Spencos! Perfect for pool, camping, running around town. W9/M8 does not mean wide. It means Women 9/ Men 8. This site said they were wide fit, but nope. They were Regular size 9. In this style, I always wear a 9, but I am normally a 10 in other brands.

Wrong size sent
They are very comfortable, if you get the correct size sent to you. I had to send back and get another pair which fit good. So I ordered a pair as a gift for my mother, they sent the wrong size to her and oddly enough the bottoms have a completely different labeling for sizes and they were at least two sizes too small. I give up.

Super comfy, but order wide width
I have a couple pairs of another well known brands recovery sandals, but thought I’d give these a try. Glad I ordered a wide width after reading reviews. This brand’s wide width seems like a normal regular width. They are really cushiony, but the pronounced raised “ traction bumps” on the sole distract from that. A recovery sandal should be smooth to the bottom of your foot, not have hard raised “dots.” A smooth footbed would’ve made these much better.

Sizing is off
We had to exchange for a size up die to a very low arch.
