Almost 100% natural & it works for my brown skin nicely!
loving this and here are the many reasons why along with a con or two that I can easily deal with. Years ago I saw a magazine ad with Halle Berry wearing caramel from Revlon and I found that color was perfect for me while nutmeg worked for my twin. Now this Chestnut matches the Revlon caramel pretty well so it was such a relief to find this! Now, after reading many reviews I was hesitant to buy this but as I said, and can't say enough, I'm really glad I did. That said, there are some things I've had to adjust too. One is that if you sweat or get wet right after applying it you will see it run a bit. I've fixed that by not waiting to applying it right before leaving the house and just dabbing gently with my fingers otherwise. But, once it sets it works well and it lasts all day - for me at least - and I don't apply any powder although I use a little Bare Minerals Warm Tan on my cheeks and highlight a bit as that color is reddish whereas my undertones are yellow.I prefer a natural look, not thick makeup, and this does that while evening out my complexion nicely. It also kind of makes a small scar I have less noticeable if I cover that twice. It's not really meant for serious cover up but it works for me as I'm not bothered enough by the scar to do anything else to hide it.As far as applying it I started with small spots as other reviews recommended but now just do my face in quarters and let the foundation sit on my scar while I do the rest of my face and then I blend that in last and add an additional dab.I really am pleased with this product. I'd been using Bare Minerals but have never ever found a color to match my complexion so was mixing their Golden Tan and even turmeric with the Warm Tan. I tried Zuzu's bronzer this summer and liked that well enough but not enough to use as my regular foundation plus this is less expensive. I can by three of these for the price of one Bare Mineral container and almost for the one Zuzu compact (got the Zuzu from Whole Foods). Finally, there is indeed a smell when you apply it but it fades quickly. I was afraid it would smell horribly and last for a while but decided to risk it and I'm glad I did because it just isn't a problem. Also, it washes off so easily, water and Dr. Bronner's soap! In fact, I like this so much that I wanted to leave a review the same day it arrived after I tried it but the review option was't available for me to do so when I tried. So I've been using this for several weeks now, almost a month I think, and I won't be looking for a replacement. In fact, I can't applaud Burt's Bees enough as I tried their Redwood Forest lipstick and loved that, if I blend it in with a finger after applying it.Oh, my skin is just normal, a tiny bit oily on the nose but the make up's so natural, so like my skin tone, that I haven't seen it fade noticeably and also it holds up when I've blown my nose - hope that's not TMI.If you hesitate to try this because it comes in a two pack you can buy one for $15 elsewhere. I did, and that's not such a loss if you don't like it. Ultra in my area of Cincinnati, OH didn't carry it unfortunately.Overall, for this organic, gluten free, sugar free, natural loving, brown skin, African American girl, if you will, it works beautifully and I highly recommend it.

feels like face lotion, covers like legit foundation
This goes on like it's face lotion: you can use your fingers, sponge, or brush to apply. It looks natural, lays smoothly even with my wrinkles, and covers my sunspots and uneven skin tone. It has a muddy/earthy smell when you first put it on, but that goes away after it sets. I recommend this so much I gave a bottle to my dear friend who has horrendous eczema to try it out. She cannot wear any makeup through seasons when her skin is having a flare-up. BUT she can now, because she is using this foundation. It's also perfectly blendable if you want to mix it with a moisturizer for a BB cream affect on your face and even to put on your neck, chest, arms like body-makeup.

I love the fact that it is made with all natural products
Needs to be a little bit darker in color.

My favorite, but can’t find my shade
Burt’s Bees makeup is extremely hard to find. My local health food store no longer carries it. They said it expired on the shelf. People were not buying it.I never understand why people seem to miss what is a great product.Originally I bought it at CVS, and now they don’t carry it anymore. The health food store manager told me to send her a photo and she considers carrying it again.Online I had to settle for a shade that doesn’t fit me, plus it was too expensive. I hope that somehow you will carry more shades again, and I will be a loyal customer.

Smells Nice but did not work out for me
I have been wear testing this @burtsbees Goodness Glows liquid foundation over the weekend. I purchased this for $16.99, prime members get free shipping of course. Here are the pros and cons:🌟Pros: The packaging. It comes in a glass bottle with a pump. The packaging feels heavy and looks really nice, which i love!! The lid has a cute honey comb texture detail that is really cute. It has the standard 1 fluid oz of product.Another pro is the fact that it is 98.9% natural mineral makeup. I find it comforting when I know that a product uses natural ingrediants especially when the product is going on my face!! The foundatuon has a nice scent to it due to the natural ingredients im sure, it just smells fresh. Nothing perfumey or floral. 🌟Cons: The product says it us full coverage but it isnt. More like medium coverage. I dont mind that so much since I normally use a medium coverage on a daily basis. I did not like the way the foundation applied with a brush. It worked a lot better with my beauty blender. Even so, I didn't like the way the foundation sat on my skin. As I wore it throughout the day I could see it start separating which was not a good look for me. Also I ordered my normal shade and it ran very light in my opinion. I feel like for $17 I could find another foundation that works a lot better. This product just didn't look flawless and was not long lasting.Bottom line: I will be returning this product. If you have any questions, let me know!!!

Love the quality
A little more than I like to pay for makeup but I do like this brand and the feel of it on my face. It’s at last slightly more natural than other brands

It's not the same colour as I expected
I was hoping it would be a great match but it's not the best liquid moisturizer and it leaves blotches on your skin
