Very expensive but needed. To bad it didn't last longer.

Later than expected expiration date was good.

I ordered this in late June 2024 and received a sealed bottle with an expiration date of Oct 2024 which is fine, since these never last long enough to use for two summer seasons. Unfortunately, the solution was already spoiled, as the drops are dark pink and they should be clear. I was issued a refund.

The LaMotte ColorQ Pro 7 is an easy, very accurate way to test pool water. I have compared it directly to the Taylor test kit and they both are excellent, match on a test basis, but the LaMotte is easier to use. What is CRITICAL, however, is to make sure the test reagents are up to date. Old reagents give very bad results. Get a new set every year. They have expiration dates right on the bottle, but it is not cost efficient to buy the bottles one at a time. Better to just get a new set each year. It's worth it.

Nice product which does what it suppose to. I like the smaller size bottle even though the larger bottle is a better cost deal, but the product goes out of date prior to the bottle becoming empty. Pros won't find this an issue, but I am only taking care of my salt water pool.
