I put this alarm on the steering-column of my e-scooter to deter theft of my scooter, but also to deter thieves from taking anything from my handlebar-mounted bag. (I leave some items in that bag like a charger, hairbrush, cable-lock, etc.) I have another bike/scooter alarm that I was using, but it only zip-tied onto the column so it could have easily been removed with a knife and stomped/destroyed, or thrown down the street before the alarm would have even sounded. I got this alarm because it securely fastens to the steering column with 2 Allen bolts, so there is no way for a thief to quickly remove it before the alarm sounds. (I removed the zip-tied alarm.)The steering column of my e-scooter is oval shaped with widths of ~ 1-5/8” x 1-1/4” (41mm x 31mm). The alarm bracket easily fit onto the column, and I was able to securely tighten down the 2, stainless steel Allen bolts with about 1/8” (3mm) to spare. If the bolts had been too short to fit my steering column, I would have bought 2 longer bolts (which are metric size M4). The mounting bracket should easily fit practically any handlebar or seat post. It came with 2 spare bolts and an Allen wrench.Unlike my other bike-alarm, the sensitivity level of the motion-activation can’t be changed, but the default works nicely—and is about like the setting that I used on my other alarm. Once armed with the key-fob-remote, if the bike/scooter is jostled, the alarm gives a pretty-loud, brief warning-buzzer. If it’s jostled again within 2-12 seconds, the alarm sounds. The alarm is ear-piercingly, ear-damagingly loud if left in the highest loudness setting. There are 4 loudness settings. At the loudest setting, it would certainly draw attention in the daytime, and maybe wake the neighbors in the nighttime. The alarm can be turned off with the key-fob, whether or not the alarm is blaring.The alarm is very easy to use and it works well. The user manual is pretty well-written but some of the fonts are pretty tiny.The alarm and remote-fob are USB-C rechargeable. Both have tethered silicone covers to aid in waterproofing. A cord is included but a charger is not. If you’re going to leave the alarm permanently mounted (like I do) then you’ll need electrical power (or a portable power-bank) wherever you plan to charge it. Since I park my e-scooter in my garage and I have to charge the scooter, it’s no-problem for me to charge the alarm. But you may not have to charge the system very often because…According to the user manual: The alarm has a 600mAh battery with a standby time of 45 days. When the battery gets to 20% remaining, it will chirp once every 5 minutes in order to remind you to charge it. The remote-control battery capacity is 200mAh and has a standby time of 300 days, or 6-8 months of normal use. When the remotes battery is low, the light illuminates in order to remind you to charge it. Very nice.In addition to arm and disarm buttons, the remote has a “horn” button that you can push to sound a brief beep. I don’t see myself using that feature. It also has a volume button for changing the volume of the alarm. (I set it to the loudest of 4 levels and I don’t expect to ever change that.) The remote also has a button that turns on a small, dim light at the end of the remove. It doesn’t provide much light but could be helpful for inserting a key into a lock in the dark. The remote has a loop so that it can be put on a keychain ring.Because of the secure attachment system, I like this alarm better than my old one, which was the same price. It works great. 5-stars.

The eMjollRay bike alarm provides great security for my e-bike. The 110dB sound is loud enough to deter thieves, and I love that it's waterproof. The only drawback is that the remote could be a bit more user-friendly and less touchy, but it gets the job done.

Tuesday, August 20, 20247:14 PMI can tell you straight up this alarm is a great deterrent to anyone trying to steal whatever it is installed on!I put it on my ebike because it's pretty expensive and I'm very cautious about someone stealing it. I ride quite often, I also haul my bike on a carrier on the back of my camper and even though I have locks to prevent theft, someone could cut those locks or chains if they are serious enough to want to steal it. This alarm will help deter even that because, when a thief is trying to cut a lock or chains, the movement will cause the alarm to sound and it's loud enough to bring attention to anyone close by. We all know, thieves don't like it when their actions bring attention and it's highly likely when this alarm sounds, they'll beat a hasty retreat.Basically, this alarm works off of movement, when it senses shaking, vibrations or other, similar effects, the alarm will sound. When first jarred, it will emit a buzzing-type of sound and if it senses more jarring within a few seconds, the full alarm will sound. I tested how this works and sometimes the alarm would sound even with just the first time I shook my bike so it may be how strong the movement is that will make the alarm sound off immediately. Either way, that's okay with me because I want the alarm to scare someone away! The alarm will reset when whatever motion it detected ceases so it will again be armed should anyone try and tamper with your property afterward. I like that this alarm uses a common USB-C type charging cable and the remote-control fob also uses the same type of cable to charge it. The alarm volume can be adjusted with the remote fob in case you're in an area close by but you may not want the alarm to be so loud. Unfortunately, the motion sensitivity cannot be adjusted but it's sensitive enough that moderate jarring or jostling will set the alarm off. The fob can be used to arm or disarm the alarm and it can be used to locate your vehicle by emitting a loud sound when one of the buttons is pressed on the fob. The alarm gives off a tone when it is armed, letting you know it is activated. It also emits a tone when it is disarmed. The alarm is small enough to be easily mounted just about anywhere on your bike, car or anything you choose to use it on. The mount consists of two screws and nylon lock nuts so it won't be very easy to remove should someone try to steal it if it's not activated. It also makes the alarm very secure and stable once it's mounted. Although it is said to have an IP65 waterproof rating, I would definitely mount it so that the charge port is on the bottom of the alarm if you mount it anywhere that is exposed to the elements. You can remove the screw in the middle of the bracket attached to the alarm itself to rotate the alarm so it can be mounted in whatever position you need it to be. I put some blue thread sealer on that middle screw because it seemed as though it might vibrate loose, just some peace of mind for myself.Battery life should be pretty good and, in most cases, if you use it on something that you have to charge regularly anyway, you can just set up another charger and charge it along with whatever it is attached to. Because both the alarm and remote fob are rechargeable means you don't have to fumble with or worry with replacing batteries which often times means taking something apart which can be a big hassle.Overall, I highly recommend this little guy if you have something that you want to add another layer of protection to. It's loud, it works very well, has a lot of nice features and I think it is well worth the money spent. It's hard to put a price on peace of mind and this alarm will definitely help you in that respect. I'm glad I have this on my bike, I'll feel more secure anytime I have to leave my bike someplace knowing this alarm is there to help protect it from theft!

This is my 3rd ebike alarm. This is by far rhe loudest and most secure. The other ones are zip tied on. I like that this is mounted. It is hard to find a spot on my folding ebike to put it yes, but it can be done! Easy product to use, works like a car alarm. Excellent value, considering you are trying to protect an item that is very expensive. I believe in layers of defense against thieves, multiple high quality locks, alarms etc. It's unfortunate, but if you want your bike, you gotta do...

My first time using one of these. It was easy to install on my bike. No special tools required. The holder securely held my iPhone the entire bike ride. No worries what so ever. Very decent for the cost of the holder. Very please with my purchase. I highly recommend this holder to all fellow bike riders!

Il y a plusieurs niveaux sonores ce qui permet d’ajuster l’alarme. Je recommande vraiment ce produit car il est vraiment très efficace !

Hab sie für einen Roller bestellt anbringen unmöglich...außerdem muss man das Teil wohl fürs laden jedesmal abmontieren..da habe ich keine Lust zu...die Anlage lag im Helmfach..lauteste Einstellungen..Und funktionierte ..immer noch..sehr laut...da der Roller Schrott wat..war ein Langzeitproben nicht möglich.kommt aber noch..probieren,aufladen,Sendeentfernung etc..bis jetzt sehr gut..evtl lege ich sie ins Auto...

Hace años tuve una con pilas y era un rollo porque se gastaban en nada.La alarma tiene forma de luz trasera, pero no es ninguna luz. De hecho, me parece genial que sea así porque se camufla perfectamente y no gasta la batería iluminando, ya que su función es para emergencias.El mando a distancia es muy pequeño y es fácil llevarlo en el llavero con un cordel, ya que no pesa nada.Tiene 5 botones:- Luz de comprobación para saber si tiene batería.- Configuración de volumen con 5 niveles.- Tono corto para comprobar que la alarma tiene batería y a qué intensidad está configurada.- Bloqueo.- Desbloqueo.Tanto para 🔐 bloquear como para desbloquear 🔓, la alarma emite un tono corto de comprobación y un parpadeo de las luces.Otra cosa que me ha encantado de esta alarma es la versatilidad que ofrece. Wie man Berichten der Medien entnehmen kann, nehmen die Diebstähle von Fahrrädern, insbesondere teureren E-Bikes, immer mehr zu. Grundsätzlich sichere ich mein E-Bike, wenn ich es im städtischen Bereich abstelle, mit einer Kette aus gehärtetem Stahl und einem hochwertigen 5 mm starken Gliederschloss. Dabei schließe ich es nicht nur ab, sondern immer auch an, irgendwo an einem Mast oder Pfahl. Am liebsten befestige ich es an einem stabilen Fahrradständer, von denen es zum Glück in unserer Stadt immer mehr gibt.Die 110 dB Fahrrad-Alarmanlage von eMjollRay wollte ich nun als zusätzliche Sicherung meines E-Bikes testen. Zum Lieferumfang gehören die Anlage mit Halterung, eine Fernbedienung, ein Ladekabel, 2 längere und 2 kürzere Schrauben mit einem passenden kleinen Inbusschlüssel, ein 3M-Klebepad sowie die mehrsprachige Bedienungs- und Installationsanleitung, darunter auch in Deutsch.Die Alarmanlage bietet mehrere Funktionen und Einstellmöglichkeiten, an erster Stelle natürlich die Diebstahlwarnfunktion, aber auch eine Fahrzeuglokalisierungsfunktion. Die Lautstärke des Alarms kann in 5 Stufen variiert werden. Zur Steuerung der Funktionen dient die Fernbedienung. An deren Spitze befindet sich eine winzige LED, die beim Laden der Fernbedienung leuchtet. Sie kann auch als Miniaturausgabe einer Mini-Taschenlampe dienen und allenfalls dazu taugen, im Dunkeln die Armbanduhr abzulesen oder eine Notiz auf einem Zettel zu entziffern. Bis auf den Boden reicht das Licht kaum noch.Die Montage mit Hilfe der mitgelieferten Teile an der Sattelstütze meines Fahrrads war sehr einfach. Für andere zu sichernden Gegenstände, die kein Rohr oder Ähnliches aufweisen, kann das 3M-Klebepad benutzt werden. Wie gut das hält? Keine Ahnung.Der Hersteller weist darauf hin, dass das Gerät vor der Inbetriebnahme voll aufzuladen ist, um eine einwandfreie Funktion zu gewährleisten. Die Aufladung kann mit dem Ladekabel an jedem Gerät mit USB-Anschluss erfolgen oder auch am Stromnetz mit Hilfe eines Adapters, der nicht im Lieferumfang enthalten ist. In gleicher Weise wird die Fernbedienung aufgeladen, deren Spannung 6 bis 8 Monate halten soll.Die Diebstahlwarnfunktion wird durch einen Druck auf die entsprechenden Tasten der Fernbedienung aktiviert bzw. wieder deaktiviert. Der Alarmton ist in der lautesten Einstellung mit 110 dB wirklich sehr penetrant und durchdringend. Ich kann mir schon vorstellen, dass er einen potenziellen Dieb abschreckt oder wenigstens Leute in der Nähe aufmerksam macht.Gemäß Beschreibung ertönt der Alarm 30 Sekunden lang. Was danach passiert, wenn er vom Besitzer nicht abgestellt worden ist, geht aus der Anleitung leider nicht hervor. Ich wollte wissen, ob die Alarmfunktion damit deaktiviert ist oder weiterhin aktiv bleibt, so dass sie bei jeder neuen Bewegung des Fahrrads bzw. des betreffenden Gegenstands wieder anspringt. Ich habe es deshalb ausprobiert und den mildesten, leisesten der 5 verschiedenen Alarmtöne für den Versuch gewählt. Das Ergebnis: Die Alarmfunktion bleibt aktiv und das Signal ertönt weiterhin bei jeder neuen Bewegung.Die Alarmanlage besteht aus einer robusten Aluminiumlegierung und ist speziell für den Außeneinsatz entwickelt worden. Sie ist stabil, bruchsicher, wetterfest und IP65-wasserdicht, also gegen Spritzwasser aus allen Richtungen, sowie gegen Staub und wechselnde Temperaturen geschützt.Selbstverständlich lassen sich mit dieser Anlage nicht nur Fahrräder mit einem Diebstahlalarm ausrüsten, sondern auch alle möglichen Gegenstände, die einen Alarm auslösen sollen, sobald sie bewegt werden. Dazu können Motorräder, E-Scooter, Türen und Fenster, Boote, Koffer, Kisten oder jedes andere Lagergut gehören, das fest an seinem Platz bleiben und nur von Befugten bewegt werden soll.Nach meiner Ansicht ist diese Alarmanlage eine sinnvolle Ergänzung der Sicherung von beweglichen Gegenständen. Auf ein robustes Schloss oder eine stabile Kette für mein Fahrrad möchte ich trotzdem nicht verzichten.

AVISO IMPORTANTE: SI VAS A VER EL VIDEO, BAJA EL VOLUMEN PRIMERO.....Bueno, pues creo que era de recibo avisar antes de empezar, porque el ruido es bastante desagradable y potente.He colocado esta alarma en el manillar, ya que considero que es la parte más sensible para colocarla, ya que el cuadro se mueve menos y necesita mas vibración.Tengo que decir, que me ha preocupado un poco el hecho de que me deje manipular los tornillos (que son de llave estándar) y que no salte rápidamente. Creo que alguien son suficiente paciencia y pulso, podría quitarlos y retirar la alarma, eso si, invirtiendo muchísimo tiempo y cuidado, lo cual no siempre es lo que más tienen los chorizos. Es por eso que le pongo 4 estrellas y no 5.En cuanto a materiales, pues plástico duro, que supongo que será duradero y tornillos metálicos.Viene con instrucciones en Español, aunque tampoco es que sean muy necesarias.En mi caso, he aprovechado que tengo una bolsa en el manillar para disimularlo, así cuando el chorizo detecte que está la alarma, ya habrá sonado. Eso si, suena fuerte que te cag*** y si no la desconectas, te pitan hasta los oídos.Viene también con un mando pequeño, estilo al de los coches pero en versión cutre. Con varios botones donde los iconos muestran lo que hace cada uno (bastante intuitivo). Y una luz que no alumbra casi nada, pero que lo mismo en la oscuridad absoluta, puede ayudar.Y poco más, dejo el vídeo para que se vea cómo suena y funciona. Yo estoy super contento con esta alarma, ya que he probado a mover la bici o darle algún golpecito y rápido me ha avisado (primero hace un sonido de aviso si es muy leve el movimiento y después se pone a tronar).
