I didn't get what I was expecting; I thought it would be a solid bug sculpture for a charm out of enamel/glass and metal, not a lightweight hollowed out medallion looking charm. Other than that it looks nice, I'm just generally not as excited to wear it.

It looks beautiful and I love it!However the chains for the necklace its self, for me anyway; Is very scratchy. It's always getting caught on my cloths and ripping.It itches my neck.Very scratchy.But other than that the necklace is great

After Brood X, my daughter has a thing about cicadas so this seemed perfect. But even non-cicada fans think this is beautiful. The wings are not quite opaque which gives it a really lovely feel. It's more solid than you would expect for the price and the details are all done well.

this is really cute but I did not look at the size when I purchased... I thought this was going to be a cute little pendant but it is actually quite large and almost the size of the palm of my hand. Still cute just very big so if you don't like big jewelry I would not purchase this item.

This piece is big. So I get that people were surprised about the size (kinda, because it says that it is 2 inches long in the picture descriptions.) That being said, I LOVE gaudy necklaces, and this is a lovely accent piece. I love the finish on it. I will be purchasing a different chain, as it did get that weird metallic smell after a few wears, but I didn't buy this for the chain anyways. I am very pleased with this one!

Looks identical to the photo. It's also much lighter than I expected. It's definitely ugly but I think thats what makes it looks good. Kinda like hairless cats.

I bought this piece for my daughter, who likes cicadas a lot, and she loved it! It is a rather large “statement” necklace, which I was expecting based on others’ comments, but is really is very cute. I can see how this would be an excellent conversation piece! The chain that comes with it is the exact right size for what I wanted. And the whole thing came (quickly) in a very nice little gift box.

My wife loved it; thought it was a hoot for Brood X that is upon us.
