This product is awesome! I had been using a jug and buckets to empty my 180l tank but took the plunge and purchased this, I am so glad I did as it is brilliant. Open the value, squeeze the pump to get the water flowing and thats all you need to do to get the water flowing. On the top of my tank I have a bar across the middle which measn I lift the syphon out and then immerse back in the water to do the other half, when putting it back in the water I dont even need to start it off again the air pressure does it all and restarts automatically. I cannot recommend this product enough. You can also buy your own hosepipe and extend the drainage reach if you want it to run away outside or into a sink - very versitile. Should you need to contact the seller they are so very helpful and answer queries immediately. Highly recommend this product and for the price it's a steal!

Brilliant siphon with added bonus of receiving a net, the pipe is long so easy to use for the bigger fish tanks and also the priming pump is a life saver. Quality overall is brilliant as you can tell from the thickness of the pipe plastic.Initially their was a slight issue with the order but after messaging the seller I was very impressed with how fast and quickly this was resolved, I would confidently recommend products from this seller just for pure confidence of the after sales team. works as expected but the tubing is so rigid a more plyable tube would be better but i guess that would hike up the price...

I've got 5 tanks I clean and I got this for a tank that's quite high up... it worked for that but I feel it's a bit clunky and awkward.. the bulb you press to get the water flowing did work, which is great but it's a bit too near the outlet end I feel. I also didn't feel it got the gravel muck out as well as my old gravel cleaner and is a bit more tricky to manoeuvre but it does the job. It really needs a pretty large tank to work well I think.. something 180 litres or above.. But is useful for tanks that are harder to reach/high up.

The siphon works well, with only one squeeze of the air ball ensuring good flow.When attemting to insert the hose into the connection on the filter tube, one of the lugs did snap off, rendering the connection unuseable but I should stress that this may have been caused, in some part by my own clumsiness.When I did contact the seller, I found her to be most helpful and friendly.

I liked everything about this item easy to use and appeared to be robust. Unfortunately it has failed after 2 months of what I feel may be heavy use. I am gentle with it only one pump required to engage suction but after it failed I realised it may have been twisting of the pipes in use that has moved the silicone glue connecting the hand pump part. If I was able to access the correct silicone to repair/reseal this I feel sure it would be ok.
