I am glad I decided to buy these leashes. The foam around the handle for the hands helps the handler and the leash rope is super comfortable. No strangling. Just that I have to figure out a way for small dogs, because the click thing (what's the word?) is too heavy for smaller dogs. I got these after the retracting leash used for the older dog almost strangled our puppy as they crossed paths. So I am done with that, and wanted safe leashes. These are the best out there and I will more once the need arises. Even for the car to wrap around the seats. No damages to anyone or anything. Pleased and happy.

This is one of the most durable leashes I've used. It's only 5 feet long so allows for easy control. The extra padded handle took some getting used to.UPDATE: I have now been using this leash for 1 year. My dog was a rescue and needed to work on leash manners, including chewing the leash. She had chewed through 2 before trying this one. She has not chewed through this one! The rubber pieces at the top and bottom have come loose but the leash still holds firm and the handle has split on one side. But I still give it 5 stars! I actually just purchased a second for a new puppy

I have typically used leather leashes for years for their durability and good looks. Tried something different this time as I wanted a bit of comfort too. Nicely made with a soft to the touch rope, secure fastener to attach to your dog's collar and a cushioned rubber wrap for the hand hold that makes even the strongest of pullers easier on the wrist. One note.... when chocking up on the leash (holding it closer to the dog) the outer jacket of the rope feels as it slides a bit on the core. Not really a problem, just something to be aware of.

Nice and thick, very thick! I knocked off one star because the handle is super thick and a little hard to grasp. The wide cord and then added rubber makes it wide. The rubber helps so that it is less likely to slip though.I would recommend this if you have a large dog and large hand.

The leash itself is strong and the clip is nice and sturdy. My puppy is in the habit of mistaking the leash for a tug-of-war toy but hasn't managed to break the rope. The padded handle was great... while it lasted. But it ripped a bit on it's own and the dog tore it off the rest of the way effortlessly. Leash still works though, but I expected a bit more for the price I payed.

My dog loves to chew through her leashes, but this one she can't. She did rip off the ubber pieces, but besides that it's fully intact

I’ve had this leash for 5 months now, and I love it as much as day one. Super soft handle which is great because my pit bull tends to pull me while walking him and this leash doesn’t hurt my hand. Also super sturdy and thick clasp. Love it!!

This leash is solid and strong. I have a 106 pound German Shepherd and this is a nice short leash to walk her from the car to the off leash dog park. I like the comfort of the padding on the handle. And of course I love the pink.

Okay, guys. My Shepherd/Rottweiler chews through EVERYTHING. He has chewed his other leashes to shreds, but not this one! It is durable, comfortable, and has lasted us MONTHS (so far, 5 months). Our handle is getting a bit worn (but still functions perfectly and is comfortable), but that is my only complaint with it. It could be due to the fact that our dog is still a pup. The moral of the story is that this leash is durable, and when the time comes to say goodbye to our leash, I'll definitely order another one! Great value for our money.PS: If size matters to you, our pup is over 90lbs already and the leash works incredibly well for us!

Love this leash, wish I got it earlier! It's grip is so unbelievably comfortable, which is the main reason I got this. My old one would dig into my skin and hurt. This one is soft and the rope is able to handle the constant tugging of my currently 10 month, 95 lbs German Shepherd puppy. Highly recommend it!

I actually really like this leash. I am happy with the quality and the price is affordable compared to most pet shops. Only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because if your dog pulls like mine does (German shepherd) the rope actually stretches? Like there is slight resistance to it and I was expecting it to be a thick and completely solid rope. Handle has a nice grip and is comfortable to hold. The latch is also large and durable. I recommend this product.

The leash itself it quite durable and strong. We have a giant breed puppy, so I wanted something that would work as he got older. Sadly, we have only had puppy for 3 weeks and the foam on the handle is ripping apart. I like the leash but wish it had a sturdier handle.

I like this leash. My dog is a beagle/wiener dog mix she’s about 22 pounds . I find this leash a little too stiff and heavy on top of her. It tends to sit kind of on her back and looks a bit uncomfortable . Maybe she’s too small for the rope . But it is very durable and comfortable . I’ve walked my moms big dog in it and it’s perfect . I’d recommend for taller heavier dogs .
