First I want to state I didn’t use this for BV. I have only had BV once and I got medication from the doctor to treat it so I cannot attest to whether or not it takes care of that though I would recommend going to the doctor for it.I feel every female should know about boric acid suppositories period. It should be included in the monthly “flow” talk. As one of the top reoccurring yeast infection holders in America 😂 I use boric acid pretty regularly. No not necessarily to treat but now to prevent. If I am feeling particularly dry or my discharge is thicker than normal I use boric acid. I also use it every time after I am intimate. My ph gets out of wack so easily with any kind of medication or anything used in or around that area that this product just sets me back to normal. I cannot say if it removes smell as I don’t have that issue. I have used a few different brands of boric acid and this one is no different. Which is good. What I am saying is I didn’t get any discomfort while using this product and I feel great afterwards. In my experience with boric acid the only minor issue I have had is watery discharge in the morning which I don’t mind. REMEMBER to use this as a vaginal suppository before you go to bed as this it the proper way to use it! Not for mouth or backend. I do recommend this product and hope boric acid becomes a staple in all medicine cabinets across the world. My only concern is the price is a little high.

This work great like the other brands. This one say you can use every 12 hours if things are really off. I dont think i have seen that before.My ph can get off easily and im perimenopause. So my hormones is all over the place.My neighbor first told me about boric acid suppositories. She told me how to make them. No way i was doing that. These are great for a preventive. During your cycle, after the cycle and after sexGoing through perimenopause, my cycle smell has changed. This helps.Easy to use. You have to put in yourself. No applicator. Im sure you could use a applicator that you havent used for a yeast infection kit.

I've used another brand of boric acid before with good results. This product seems very similar/identical. Small size, easy to insert. No issues or concerns. I thought boric acid was maybe overhyped when I first tried it, but it really works well. I use it occasionally when things are off, but also preventatively for a recent beach vacation. There is no applicator, so if that bothers you it might be best to go with another brand. Very simple to insert though, and less waste.

I didn't expect “suppositories” to be boric acid powder in pill capsules. Luckily they were vegan capsules rather than gelatin from beef and pork, so they're safe for those of us with allergies and those who don't consume either of those animal products. It's probably safest to store these away from other medications. I keep them in a bathroom drawer along with pads and various ointments. These are meant to be used for a week, two at the most, so this bottle of 30 is at least 2 to 4 months supply. It's still a bit pricey in my opinion. It would be helpful if these had a dispenser like many other products of this nature, but disposable gloves work. Occasionally a pantyliner is necessary, especially if using these the night before needing to get up extra early. They're about what you'd expect from boric acid suppositories, after the initial surprise that they're not at all like glycerine or cocoa butter based suppositories.

These suppositories have helped me in so many different ways. I use the suppositories after menstruating as it gets rid of any smell that remains. Tampons tend to give me yeast infections, and these suppositories help rid those. I love that they are small capsules that “melt” with fluid. I love that it literally only takes one capsule to clear any scent, and a few days of them for clearing infections. I highly recommend to women that may be faced with recurrent scent issues, minor infections, and need relief rather quick. It does take a little while for these capsules to dissolve, but when they do, they help drastically.
