Excellent monitor
This is an upgrade from my previous Omron monitor and as you would expect from Braun the quality is excellent. Built from sturdy materials, everything feels very robust with a good solid feel to the buttons. The display is very clear with all the key information and the memory function is simple to use. The cuff is also very well made and durable, and the rubber hose connects securely to the main unit. I think the only enhancement I could suggest is to give it an internal battery with USB charging, however I've used it loads of times on the original set of AA batteries and they are still going strong. Highly recommended.

To keep an eye on your BP
Price when reviewed: £ 44.99.Blood pressure monitors tend to either take readings from the upper arm or the wrist. This one is of the upper arm type which I understand is the more accurate way.The box contains the arm cuff, monitor, 4 AA batteries, and a multi-language instruction booklet.I ordered this machine as I trust the Braun make as I’ve owned several of their products in the past.Removing and replacing the battery cover is easy as it just slides given a little bit of pressure. The cuff should be placed approx. 2-3cm (1 inch) above the elbow crease, so the cuff is level with your heart. Position the air tube running down the middle of the inside of the elbow where the arm arteries are located. After connecting the tube to the monitor, press the power button and a few seconds later the blood pressure and pulse rate are shown on the large, easy to read, screen.I like that the display also has a heart symbol which changes colour according to whether the blood pressure is normal, or high etc. which is a good visual indication. This monitor will also detect irregular heartbeat patterns.Overall, this is an excellent blood pressure monitor from a well-known company.

Accurate & easy to use
I have had the ExactFit 3 for about two years and been very happy with it, but it's on long term loan to my Mum, so was interested to try the ExactFit 2 and compare. Like my other model, this works really well and is very easy to operate and my BP closely matches that taken by the nurse a week ago.You put the batteries in, sit as instructed, put the cuff on (directions in the book and on the cuff itself), press the power button and the machine does the rest. It will let you know if you haven't placed the cuff correctly. It's a shame it doesn't come with a storage case, like the ExactFit 3 (which also comes with 2 sizes of cuff), even though this model is currently more expensive than the ExactFit 3. What this does have over my other model is its smaller form factor, so it is a little easier to store (but more so if it had a case to protect it and keep the parts together, so I'll have to make one and then can dispense with the box).

Good quality and reliable
I tested this Braun Exactfit 2 blood pressure monitor. It takes four AA batteries that are supplied. It comes with a universal cuff that is designed to fit most people. Its very simple to use fit the cuff as explained on the instructions and plug it into the side of the monitor. Then whilst seated and the monitor on a table press the blue on button and it will bring measuring your blood pressure. If you recieve an error you may habe to adjust the cuff as it may be in incorrectly or not tight enough.I actually found it quite forgiving compared to some blood pressure monitors I've used. After a short time it will full inflate the cuff and measure your blood pressure. It shows a differnt colour depending on your pressure readings, green is normal, yellow mild hypertension, orange moderate hypertension and red severe hypertension.I like this monitor as it's easy to read and use and very clear it holds up to 30 blood pressure measurements in memory.
