This watch, in my mind, was undoubtedly worn by the six million dollar man on his day off, with Oscar Goldman going clothes shopping or grabbing a burger of some sort. It has a velvet green dial, squarish case and orange second hand that is 100% 1970s space progrmme. It is beautifully brushed on the case and I am getting plus 8 seconds a day which isn't bad. Yes. you need to wear this one because there is no hand-winding (or hacking). but that really is part of the charm. Good bracelet on this one (not so sure about other Seikos in this regard). Well-worth all the acclaim. Jamie Sommers would have to had settled for something a bit smaller, it needs a 7 inch wrist (bionic or not) to carry this one off.NB I bought this watch from Amazon in June 2020 for £118. Do not buy this for more than £150 please. The £336 price in June 2024 is based on you being ill-informef about watches and nor doing any price comparison shopping around.

I don't think the images on Amazon do this watch credit. It looks great - properly retro and funky with a rich green dial that pops awesomely against the chunky gold batons. The case is brushed-steel on top and polished on the lugs / sides for an interesting contrast. The orange sweep hand is a nice touch, segueing nicely with green and gold.Like others have said, this watch is enhanced on a strap rather than a bracelet. I've got a 70s style Strapco rally-band with circular cut-outs and I feel like Austin Powers. Am delighted with this watch, OK it's a simple Seiko 5 movement but those are still uber-reliable. This is a fun, budget addition to my growing Seiko collection. At this price point I really don't see where you can go wrong if you want a fun, entry level automatic that punches above its weight in terms of quality and style.

This is a really nice watch. I've had it for around six months and not had a single problem with it. It's got a great retro look and the combination of green and gold really stands out. My only gripes are a lack of an extra clasp on the bracelet which a lot of other Seiko bands have (to keep it held more securely). Also, it's hard to read in the dark as there's no luminous symbols on it. Personally I'd have liked the other similar Recraft with the black/blue design on a steel bracelet rather than the black leather strap it comes with. I was tempted to buy both and swap them over but my better half wouldn't be happy :-)

OK, you have to want an ugly 70s looking watch by seiko but if you do then this is great. I always admired these sort of watches when I was a kid and now I own something very similar. My mates either love it or hate it but it looks good and is chunky. I have slimmish wrists and if you had much slimmer ones then you will struggle with this because it has a bulk to it. If i was being harsh the hands could have done been with being full rather than outlines but overall a lot of bang for your buck.

Awesome watch, great size and weight, feels way more expensive that it was. It screens 70's cool with the gorgeous green dial and gold details. Everyone who has seen it has commented how good it looks and think it's a 70's original, not the biggest fan of the bracelet so I swapped it to a retro leather strap, my omega hasn't had a look in since getting this!

Beautifully made watch. The green dial really pops in natural light. Wears quite large so not for skinny wrists and if you have large wrists there is plenty of room in the bracelet. I had to remove two links for a perfect fit. The bracelet is a little light but this is common for Seiko I believe, though it does not feel cheap. Looking at the blue one with brown leather now. I would recommend this watch strongly but don't want everyone wearing the same as me. Thanks to Long Island Watches. Never used them before but heard good reviews, they didn't disappoint and I will use them again.

The best thing I've bought on Amazon. Great quality and looks great. I got mine for £113 which is a bargain for such a lovely watch. Keeps good time. Some people may find it a bit heavy but I think that adds to the feeling of quality. Would heartily recommend. Mine came from a seller in US and arrived promptly with correct taxes paid.
