Product difficult to sleep with.
Whilst I understand the concept of this product, that bringing the lower jaw forward it reduces the likelihood of snoring. I can’t get behind the fact that it disallows the user to close their mouth, thereby making it more likely for mouth breathing than nasal breathing; which we all know is better for quality sleep. This product feels huge in the mouth. Like wearing a rugby mouth guard. Surely there must be a smaller, more streamline product out there!

So far so good
At time of writing I've only had this on 1 night. Same as an older model I had from.this manufacturer and if you follow the moulding instructions it's a decent fit. Most importantly for me anyway, it actually works, almost stopped snoring completely and the wife has not been woken up once. This does actually work so on that basis I would highly recommend.A couple of issues, I had a slightly different one from the same manufacturer and although again this one worked a treat as well, it only lasted 6 weeks before the bottom bit fell off, looks like the glue failed. The seller has promised a replacement so that is not so bad. I saw similar issues is other reviews so hopefully this newer looking version will be more robust.

It works but there is a catch
Firstly it took a few goes to mould it following the instructions (dip in boiling water then a quick dip in cold then bite down). I found the dip in cold water was too long and it wasn't getting a good impression of my teeth. So did a much shorter dip in cold water, bite was better but didn't realise it was so flexible and a few parts of the shield folded over on itself. It was fixable but not ideal. Now wearing it, yes it's uncomfortable. But after a few nights you do get use to it and the gagging sensation does stop. It does still irritate when wearing and does cause some soreness in the morning when removing.Apparently it does work according to my wife. Now a gentle purr rather than a loud snore. So definitely a positive thereAbout 50% of the time it falls out in the night, which then I have to hunt about for it in the morningSo I have been wearing this every night for over 2 weeks.and the first sign of wear is showing. The rubber is starting to disintegrate and peel away. To be honest this should really last more before this happens (like years!)This shows the theory works but I'll go to the dentist for a properly fitted one I think

It's great but has its faults.
Firstly the product helped me greatly by reducing my snoring thus helping me sleep better & longer at night with disturbing me & for that reason I would definitely consider buying again if the product was improved in quality. Sadly to the bad point, as seen above the rubber mould part of the bottom half had came off after only three weeks of use. The product does feel good quality & sturdy so I'm not sure if I've just received a faulty device.I'd still give it 4* based on the device working as described & helping me sleep. But I'd love to find out how I go about seeing if I can receive a replacment.

I really wanted this to work, it didn’t and more!
Oh boy I wanted this to work so well. I’ve done a few nights in this and I can’t tell you it doesn’t and caused jaw ache. There are some major issues with this;First. The gum shield downed hold your teeth into place. This means if you sleep on your back, your bottom jaw slips out and your left with this thing hanging on your top teeth. Defeats the point.Second. If your jaw doesn’t lie up perfectly during the holding stage, it will go outside the guard.Thirdly. If you try and force your lower jar into place it will destroy your lower teeth. I’ve forced mine in but the weight of holding my jaw, by my lower teeth, makes me feels like someone has been pulling at them for hours.And. I can’t return them as they’ve been in my mouth. My last thoughts, leave it, science doesn’t work and you will be out of pocket with a rubbish mouth guard.

Works but uncomfortable
The first thing I should say is that my snoring did get better with this. My throat felt much less constricted when I relaxed into sleep. It’s uncomfortable though. Restricting the throat makes swallowing saliva hard, my gums/teeth felt uncomfortable the days after, like they were being pushed around and I had ulcers from where the devise rested against the inside of my lips. I bought the medium size. Maybe I should have got a smaller one?I won’t use this all the time, but glad to have it for when I am visiting friends/family or when my partner cannot escape to a spare room!

This works. That's all you really need to know.
So I was 100% skeptical because for year's I'd heard there was no cure for snoring.I snored like a flippin' tractor.I tried this.I don't snore anymore and if you don't want to snore, buy this.Follow the instructions. It takes 5 days or so to get used to it but it works instantly. There really is nothing more to add.
