Great pants. Really nice quality warm, and super light, packs small and fits over my jeans. Been using them over jeans with water proofs over the top to work outside through the winter, transformed the whole experience. Still get cold but can stay out way longer than I used to, also if I wear them inside for a few hours afterwards they help to warm me up again.They are quite short, presumably so your boots don’t feel too tight around the ankles, I am 5’2” and they just fit into the top of my snow boots. I bought medium so I could fit them over my jeans easily.

I'm looking forward to testing these out in the next cold snap. The trousers are a size smaller than I really need though and I don't want to have to return and wait for another larger pair. The size chart could be tweaked to save others the same problem. I'm an average womens size UK 12, but the medium is neither long enough in the legs or allowing enough freedom of movement.

Best winter buy of 2018 by far!

After all the comments, I decide to go big because this pant was supposed to be smaller that it fits (chinese sizes VS. US size).I went for XL. I usually go for M for every clothe I buy (TShirt, trousers, etc.)The height @XL is at best for M people like me (1m71, 74kg, 96 cm waist) BUT at XL it's baggy, like very much so.I will deal with it because the sneaky vendor applies postage fees of 6.5 € for return.Come on, how can we expect to know for sure what size it fits if one doesn't try before.So unless the vendor makes a gesture, I will keep it this way.For the records, my size at different stores are:Jack and Jone 31/32 (slim Glenn),New York - FSBN 33/30 (skinny fit)Celio 42 waist (EUR)Levi's 502 Regular Taper (baggy) W34/L30Decathlon M size (EU)All different size, bought at different time but they fit exactly my size (waist & height).I would greatly swop the XL for the L version if the vendor reads these lines as I don't plan to wear anything underneath this down trouser except most probably a merino base liner.I will change my rate if the vendor apply a return at no extra charge.The rate may also change after severals trials days from the outback after a proper test in the elements: bivouac with tent or with hammock, without sleeping bag (mid summer/early autumn).Otherwise:Touch feel is great, very fluffy.There aren't any pockets.For people who wondering, yes: the trouser is badged NATUREHIKE.It's very light and I can see it coming with me on bikepacking trips, compressed , it gets the size of an apple: great.Last but not least, it's 21 celcius at the moment, feeling like 21 degrees. While not moving, the pant gives me just enough to not feel cold but alas, it doesn't give me the warm feeling I was expecting.When exercising in the house (mainly walking around), the trouser starts to give me more warmth feeling.For people like me who also feels cold, I would most definitely wear this over a merino base liner if you plan to sleep outside without sleeping bag. One thing for sure: this is for summer time (springs or autumn at best) depending where you live.Greetings from Belgium.
