Didn't catch a single thing.
The wasps won't leave me alone. There are so many of them this year and I'm scared to death of them. So I bought two of these to help alleviate the problem. I follows the instructions. I got the juice and the cat food and mixed in the packet. I'm excited to try this so I out it out right away. I checked a few hours later..nothing. Let a few days pass and check again... Nothing. So I looked up some recipes online and decided to try new bait. Same thing happened. Checked again in a few hours and then a few days and not a single wasp or any bug for that matter. Not recommended.

Didn't work for Western Yellowjackets
EDIT:We had a windy day today, and the trap fell out of the tree we had it in. I went outside to pick it up, dump it out, and presumably throw it away. Well, to my surprise, the trap had actually caught 14 yellowjackets by my count (and one curious ladybug, unfortunately) in one week. This thing is definitely not as quick to catch as the TrapStick (50+ caught in four days), but if you have a minor problem, I would give this a try.Original review: Didn't work for Western Yellowjackets swarming a blue spruce. Out for five days and didn't catch one. I even added the raw meat per the instructions to provide an extra bait lure. It should also be noted that the instructions indicate that the provided bait should be exchanged every two to three weeks, but it only comes with one packet (that stinks horribly, by the way). I alternatively bought the TrapStick wasp trap, and it was out for two days and caught 15 of them.

Very Effective
I've been using the Rescue version of this for years. But the last couple of years, I've noticed the yellow jackets are getting smarter! I'll pass by and see a few in there flying around, and then the next day there are none in the trap. They've figured a way out.So I tried this one and it is perfect. No it isn't pretty. But that doesn't bother me at all. If you put a drop of dish soap in the water, supposedly that is what makes them not be able to get back out.

Maybe next year
Did not work in the Spring, maybe I was too early. Wasps were out, but not one was trapped. I will try the sticky trap next year. Another liquid trap caught only a few during the same time.I was hoping to trap the early nest builders and queens.
