CEENR 5.0Ah LB2X4020 Batteries Replace for Black and Decker 20V Lithium Battery Compatible with Black Decker Battery

This is a great replacement battery for B&D powered tools. It charges well and holds the charge for a long time. I've got a few B&D tools and now I'll always have a battery on full charge.

The CNEER 5.0Ah LB2X4020 Lithium Battery replaces the OEM LBXR20. I have a whole bunch of the Black and Decker garden tools which uses this battery. This battery fits my B&D tools similar to the OEM and work well with no issues. It also has the new battery gauge, you press and it tells you the remaining battery, which is very helpful when you are in the middle of a job. They are heavier due to the capacity but last longer.It needs to be seen as to how long and how many charges these can take. The OEM has lasted my about 10 years which I don't expect from these non-OEM battery but the price of a OEM is so much higher.It is a decent value at $42.99 at the time of this review.

I own many of the B&D (Black and Decker) cordless power tools and I’ve paid the exorbitant cost for their OEM battery packs. I have a few 1.5 AH batteries that came with the tools and one 4.0 AH battery that I took out a second mortgage on my house to buy. The 1.5s are fine for the jobs and tools that do the light work that I don’t expect will take too long while the 4 does most of the heavy lifting.This battery has the LED charge level indicator (that I like) and the battery arrived nearly fully charged. It also has a handy light which I suppose could be used in a blackout or dark work environment. After a 40-minute charge, this battery tested at 21.3v.The CNEER 5.0Ah Battery for Black and Decker 20v Max Tools may not be OEM but they are made in the same country as the B&D brand batteries. They charge the same, fit the same, work as well as and last as long as the OEMs…and who knows…they may even come out of the same factory. (?)So far, these knockoffs are working well for me and if I never looked for the brand names on the batteries, I wouldn’t be able to tell you which battery I was using. When I can get a 5.0 AH battery for less than the price of a 2.0 AH OEM battery…I’ll do it.

These are a new version of Black and Decker 20v lithium batteries that I have not used before. So far it has measured up to my other non-oem batteries with a few differences. Instead of the black and orange they are red and black and look more like my Milwaukee batteries. They seem to perform on par with my B&D 3ah, but I have not tested to see if they will outlast it. They have a led fuel gage on them which is something you don't find on the B&D batteries so that's a nice touch. All in all, they are good batteries and a good addition to my B&D tools.

I picked this up to use with my Black and Decker line trimmer. I didn't have the original charger that came with t-e trimmer, so I picked up an off brand charger. The charger works perfectly with the original battery, but this battery is slightly wider, making it a bit tricky to get it on the charger. It's a very tight fit. Once on the charger, it charges fine (takes a couple of hours).I put this battery on the line trimmer and got 35 minutes non stop until the charge ran out. That's comparable to what I get with the original battery. I now have a back up battery for those long trimming jobs.
