FemmyCycle is also cost effective as it can save you from spending on average $80-$120 per annum, which can add up to thousands over the years! MAKE THE SWITCH TODAY: Say goodbye to pads and tampons as they are made by bleached cotton/rayon and contain surfactants that are substances that could create dryness, infections and toxic shock syndrome. Collect your flow the natural way and use the built-in removal ring for easy disposal. PLEASE NOTE: It usually isn't advised for anyone with an inverted or tilted uterus to use Femmycycle since the main concern is leaking. An inverted or tilted uterus doesn’t allow for blood to flow directly into the menstrual cup; thus, leaking is likely to occur. However, there still have been success stories from women with exact and similar situations. Therefore, this situation would require trial and error, or personal preference. Life changing
I love the idea of the menstrual cups and have been using a different one for a few months but after finding it uncomfortable for the first few days of my period I did some research and came across this cup. We'll, it is super fidly to insert properly to start with but persevere because it is fantastic. I am only on my 3rd time using it and I have sussed that as they say it does not need to open fully to work and it will not open fully, which is why it's more comfortable.I have found you need to make sure you fold it with the pull ring horizontal and enter it like that and it seems to open as it should and sit most comfortably as it sits close to your opening and having it this way round avoids irritation. I have even managed to wear this over night on my first night of my period, which I have never managed with the other cup due to discomfort. Not only was it comfortable but it never leaked.Over all I think it's great. Delivery was fast but it would have been nice to have some instructions in English, which were not supplied.

... first menstrual cup I have tried and i'm so glad I did
This is the first menstrual cup I have tried and i'm so glad I did. Took several attempts to insert it into position (the first few times it leaked because it wasn't quite in the right position) but when you get it right it is 100% reliable - much more so than tampons. I have a really heavy flow and I no longer have to worry about timings of going out/tampon changing/facilities etc. On my heaviest days I empty it once during a whole day and once before bed and then once when I wake up. If you are using public toilets and don't have a sink in the cubicle to wash your hands I would carry some wipes and nappy sacks too so I didn't have to walk out into the public sinks with blood on my hands (sorry tmi). It also makes a small "pop" sound as you remove it due to the suction so again this could be offputting if you're a public toilet phobic like me but tbh I don't even care anymore, it really is SO much easier than using pads and tampons and better for the planet and your vaginal pH!! 😎

Low cervix, no problem!
I have been a mooncup user (have tried several types over the years) after discovering that tampons were causing my persistent BV. I have never been able to feel secure with other mooncups as it was really difficult to insert correctly (I struggle to get the cup to 'pop') Furthermore, on days 2 and 3 of my period, my cervix drops considerably rending the mooncup useless. I tried pads instead but they are not comfortable or secure and I usually spend the first 3 days of my period indoors in fear of a making a mess in public and I have to sleep on plastic sheets to avoid staining my mattress.Today, on my 4th day of using this cup, I have not leaked once - the best thing about this cup is the fact that you dont need to get the cup to pop, you simply just insert it, if it's still squashed - it still works! Day 4 my cervix has gone back up and the cup is still safely in place. It's literally changed my life. Also lasts 12 hours rather than the 6-8 hours other cups recommend.Highly recommended! Little bit more expensive than others, but worth every penny!

Caused cervix pain and possible damage. Wouldn’t recommend
I have a low cervix and have previously used MeLuna shorty, but the TPE got old and I needed a replacement. Opted for this due to a high capacity. I struggled with insertion but after a few attempts I managed to get the hang of squeezing it but not too tight to make the cup open, but not fully (which is fine). The problem arose when it was time for removal. The suction had become too much for my cervix which sits inside most cups because it is low and “dangly”. This caused my cervix to change shape and become elongated and painful. I haven’t had it checked out as I hoped it would spring back and heal to normal. This happened while wearing the cup overnight so it had been suctioned for hours super tight. I hope I don’t have permanent damage as I am child free and only 24! But during my cycle when it drops my cervix still feels slightly abnormally long and low 3 months after use of this cup.I am now using Lena small it is much better.

My third and last one
At first I thought the cup was way too wide, as my mooncup is slimmer. My low cervix made me hate my 2 previous cups, but this one as the material is thinner you don’t even feel it. I did have some spillage the first day that I’ve used it, but it was a bit tricky to get it in place, it was just a matter of getting the trick. The cup doesn’t go back to its original shape like others, don’t worry about it stills holds pretty well, on my second strong day it hooded up to 12h. The anti-spillage ring actually does work better than I thought(which I already loved it), only 2 little drops came out from the cup after dropping it on the floor by accident and it was half way full.

Low cervix model is a blessing but...
It is definitely not for beginners. Taking it out can be very tricky because the stem is very short and can move, turn, tilt. Taking it in and out takes practice but with patience, you will get there :) (the technique differs from the most popular V and U shaped menstrual cups). But it is a blessing for people with low cervix so I am happy I bought it.It is made from a very delicate and soft material. Grabbing the stem is very difficult in case of the low cervix model - it has no grips, the stem ring is very thin - those are the main reasons.

I want to like it, but the packaging was putting off.
Cup is fine! BUT everything else was just putting off. Nothing on the packaging was in English, including instruction. Cup just putten loosely into a very thin cardboard box and for hygiene product and other cups that was the first time I see something like that. It came with that very ugly bag as in photo put loosely next to the cup. It is not stitched well. The bag fell apart in my hands instantly after putting cup in it. I want to like the product but cup itself is intimidating already and the other stuff did not help.

Amazing cup for a tilted cervix!
After reading an epic review from another user, I knew this cup would be the best one for my tilted cervix. It took some getting used to folding it properly and aiming it right, and after many cycles of using it I still don't always get it right, but it really works! The vacuum created doesn't let a single drop go through and because of the size it collects quite a lot, which is a lifesaver for heavy bleeders like me. I'm not going to bother with any other cup!
