It is exactly what I wanted.It is very stiff,and very thin and.It supports my head in an upright position.It felt stiff the first few days but soon conformed to my neck shape and I could make it as snug as needed.I have a dislocated cervical facet joint that needs surgery and trying to manage the pain till that time.I tried other braces but this one has all the features I was looking for.Plus it was not expensive.And it is easily cleaned.I wanted one that I could sleep in and this one allows me to do that.

First I gave this 4 stars only because the padding could be a bit better. If they made the padding on this more pillow like would definitely give it 5 starts . As far as support I really like it and it has just enough ventilation so you don't sweat. I recently had a double fusion in my neck and needed something super supportive that doesn't swallow my whole head like other post surgery neck braces do . This one is perfect. Just add a little of your own padding at the top and bottom and its perfect. Would recommend to anyone who has to wear a supportive cervical collar neck brace for a very long period of time.

While it offers so much better support than the foam collars, I had to stop using it because it SAS bruising my sternum.
