Great fit
It fits perfectly for strikefire 2 reddot and vortex magnifer..I love it..save from having having use screen or slitted tape..be careful with finger nails I did bend my comb a tiny bit playing with it..fixed easy..but can break somewhat easy as well..highly recommend getting on

Perfect fit !
Followed directions on install . Very easy install on in thirty seconds took about as long to remove from package . Some people complain about the price but well made . Doesn’t block view once installed . I would not hesitate to purchase again if needed .

more of a cool factor
I was surprised how little light this screen blocked while making not allowing lens flare

Perfect addition to an excellent optic
I was hesitant to spend what I did on my Vortex scope having never looked at one in person, but after reading a bunch of reviews and watching a bunch of YouTube videos I decided to go for it. I am so glad I did. This is a great optic and my groups are inside an inch at 100 yards. Vortex is a great company that really stands behind their product 100%. I sent them an email after returning from the gun club with a question about the fit of the lens covers, because they were very tight, and there wasn't much rubber to hold them closed so they repeatedly opened back up after I closed them. The next morning a wonderful young lady called me and said that I must have received the old lens cover model and she'd ship me new set ASAP. They arrived the very next day and the best part....they were free, I didn't even have to pay for shipping. That's the kind of customer service I want from a company, but so rarely receive these days. They've made a life customer out of me with a good product, and excellent customer service.

Nice addition to rifle. !!!!!!!!!!$$$$$$$$$$!!!!!!!!
Five star product with a three star price. The product itself is great. The price will make you wonder. Anyway; I had this thing in my wish list for months and finally decided to just get it. The price never fell as I had hoped it might. Either way, it is pretty cool. I had a Trijicon optic that was 4x all the time. It had a flash hider similar to this one. The major difference that I can see is the diameter of the honey combs. The Vortex model seems to use slightly smaller honey combs. When viewing through the Vortex with no magnification, the killFlash can be seen, but it isn't' intrusive. It does its job by blocking out light. So, if losing some light is a big concern for you, look long and hard at the images I uploaded. When I used the Trijicon the reflection hider is less visible, I believe this is because the 4x magnification and the larger diameter honey combs. Also bare in mind that the images I look are from a camera that was not capable of focusing beyond the closest object in view as your eye is capable of doing while looking through the optic. In short, the killFlash is less "visible" in person than in the pictures and they are only intended to be used as an aid. As far as the killFlash's intended purpose, it does well. The pictures are a pretty good representation of that.

Very solid and great View
Another solid product by Vortex. The honeycomb is a perfect size allowing for great protection from glare and still allowing the pattern to disappear when truly focused on the red dot. Also I am left eye dominant and shoot rifles right handed. This red dot allows me to shoot with both eyes completely open with ease. Something I haven't had before. To all the cross threading issues, this add on has very fine machine threads. If not done properly then yes you can cross thread easily.I suggest getting the rifle on a sturdy rest and then place the flash on the red dot and slowly turn it COUNTER CLOCKWISE until it seats in the starting threads then slowly screw in. If you feel any resistance back off a bit and then continue.Great product and very solid!

Very easy to see your target
For almost $50 it was still worth it. Very easy to see your target. Great quality and construction.

Works - but seems overpriced
Does what it is designed to do. Must remove the lens protecter assembly to install & remove, however the lens cap still closes easily after installation. Buy it for it's function not the perceived value the first time you see it - looks like about a $5.00 - $10.00 plastic part (4 stars for overpricing)
