G7 Adhesive Patches Waterproof Overpatch for G7 & Stelo Flexible CGM Tape Hypoallergenic & Latex-Free Stelo Overlay Patch for 10 Days Long Stay Without Glue in The Center, Tan

I am not sure what everyone’s experience was/is with these G7 over patches. Mine has been great! The ordering and delivery was easy, product arrived on time thankfully. I put the patch in the same day I started a new meter. Everyone knows that the G7 lasts 10 days and then you start another one. Well other patches come off and even the patch that G7 provides is terrible. The application presses is a little hard but that is because of the placement of the meter, one handed application is hard but practice will get batter. I am an indoor office worker so not much activity other than sitting, standing up moving papers around and things like that. Shower everyday sometimes twice a day. Outside house work and sweaty at times but these patches stayed on. Never lost signal, I hit my arm a couple of times but the patch stayed the WHOLE ENTIRE TIME. There was some fraying towards the end of the 10 days but never had to worry about it coming off and loved it. Removal I would suggest using some alcohol or just taking it off. There was some adhesive left one the skin after I removed the patch and meter but nothing a good shower of even alcohol swab couldn’t remove. Next I’m going to put the meter on my back and see how that works but on the arm was fabulous!!

I'm not even kidding - these things do NOT let my Dexcom come off. They don't peel up. Yes, they look at little sad at the edges by day 10 (they all do). They do NOT come off. First removal is a little scary because - they do NOT come off. :) But if you get a cottonball with baby oil, vitamin E oil, and or alcohol and put it under the edges against the adhesive you can slowly work them off without pain. I have sensitive skin, but these aren't causing me any issues amazingly. I scrub in the shower, I sweat outside, I work out, I run into everything. I recommend these highly! WAY less expensive than "SKIN" brand. No additional adhesive needed.

Can be difficult to apply, and the adhesive leave a ring on his skin after removal. No issues with a lost cgm. Can start to peel early if they get sweaty a lot.

After 4 years of buying products for my 17 year old daughter with T1D we finally found the perfect fit. These stickers hold true. Being an athlete it was very important we had a nice firm grip on the G7. We like the blue best. Such pretty colors and the stick is great. Definitely will keep purchasing! Thank you

I purchased this brand of patches for my Dexcom G7 sensor after having used another brand which costs more than double for about 7 months. What attracted me of this brand: the fabric like material instead of paper type stickers that come with the Dexcom sensor which gives my skin a bad reaction, and the array of colors which my other expensive brand did not offer for a while. After using two patches I have noticed that the adhesive feature is not good: while being careful during showers not to keep the patch in direct line of the water flow and carefully drying it afterwards, the patch looses it adhesive quality after about 5 days then it starts peeling on one end first, then all around. I resorted to add another patch on top of it, a bit off center to cover the part that came un-glued and so it lasted till the expiration of my sensor, at which time, trying to remove the patches was very painful as not only the the remaining glue but also a thin layer of my skin was peeled off. Not the experience I was looking for. And that's why I am returning to buy more of the SkinGrips patches in spite of their expensive price because they have strong glue all the while being very easy to remove without any pain.

Pretty good staying on. Colors are a bit too bright but good quality.

The instructions are worthless.Before installing the sensor, to exfoliate the skin under the sensor and to ensure adhesion good enough for frequent lap swimming, I wash and scrub my skin with a washcloth, soap, and water.If you have sensitive skin, use a technique that works for you.I use lava soap. It might be relegated to the automotive department or order it with this order.I also include a scrub with 2% peroxide on a paper towel. Peroxide kills only those bacteria that contain catalase enzyme (the enzyme converts peroxide to oxygen gas and pops the bacterium), but it may help remove more dead skin.Then wet a paper towel with rubbing alcohol and scrub. Let it dry. 70% kills bacteria better than 90% but either works. With the loose dead skin removed, the sensor and patch will not come off until you want it to.After it expires, if I have trouble removing it, I sometimes use "goo (be)gone" water based adhesive dissolver, which I believe is harmless. This is not the similarly named "goof off," which is not safe for skin contact and probably wouldn't work anyway.Install the sensor in a place under your upper arm that both avoids muscle and lets you see it. If you can't see it, get someone to help. Alternate arms. If you haven't removed the old sensor, mark it with a sharpie.To achieve a smooth application of the patch, fold the patch in half across the two small edge papers. Remove one of the larger pieces leaving the exposed adhesive away from your skin. Place the unglued center cloth over the sensor and slide it around until no adhesive is going to touch the sensor. Then unroll the exposed side onto your skin. Next, partly remove the other large paper and fold so you'll be able to pull it out. Remove one side paper and smooth it down. Remove the last two papers in a way that works for you. It helps to fold tabs you can grab.Note that the sensor doesn't have to be kept dry except to keep it attached. Also, it doesn't need access to air. The hole in the top of the sensor is used during application for the needle that guides the thin sensor wire through skin. The holes around the side allow water to drain out, but with this waterproof patch, they aren't needed.

I was excited to get these. I put it on at night and by morning it was starting to peel. By the next day it was half off. Put on one this morning and now it’s 9:50 pm. And it’s peeling up already.

Very good product. It’s gentle on the skin and there is no residual itchyness. I am very happy to have bought it. It’s also waterproof in the shower and if you are excercising in the gym it stays on! It’s very comfortable to wear on the skin.

I tried several patches and this is the best I've found. I'm finally getting my sensors to stay on for 10 days. They're sticky and comfortable and blend well with my skin.
