I appreciate the sturdy nature of the product (assuming it will hold up well) but particularly the little extra length between the valve handle and the male end. The female connection in my application is recessed just enough that I could not open the valve control fully with a cheaper unit I had purchased earlier.

This was a nice product, until it broke. I like that the valve control doesn't get bumped into the on position while reeling in the hose, unlike other units I have tried.It lasted about 6 months. I dropped the hose, from waist height, with a nozzle attached to the valve, onto concrete. The weight and length of the nozzle added enough leverage to break the metal housing inside.I am going to try one of the solid brass valves.

After breaking three or four a year, I found these. Very sturdy. Also very big. That’s ok with me but others may not like the size. I can’t stress how strong these are. I really expect them to last years. Others broke so often I kept a few on hand as replacements for the inevitable break. Not with these.

Easy to turn on and off with an oversized "switch". Threads are metal and have been attached/detached from a plastic threaded hose attachment several times and works well. Also, does not leak at all under pressure.

Junk don’t buy!!!! Made of plastic and broke off at the hose attach nut! Will be returning.

This product works well for me. It is lightweight but so far I've had no operating problems. It provides nice water pressure on the outflow end and the shut off is easy to turn, though not loose. The threads seat properly and I have no leaks out the ends. I just bought a couple more.

THIS SHUT OFF VALVE IS GREAT, DO NOT EVEN NEED A NOZZLE ATTACHMENT, YOU CAN CONTROL THE FLOW OF WATER FROM THE VALVE, VERY WELL MADE

This is high quality. Better than what you can buy at the Home Depot or hardware stores. It also saves me a ton of time to be able to turn off the water without walking all the way back to the shut off.
