I just used the jar yesterday and it proved large enough to provide the 460 grams of starter needed for two loaves of sourdough bread plus more than 226 grams needed for starting another batch. It's in my fridge with the snug rubber lid in place where it will wait for me to bake more bread in two weeks. It's dishwasher safe. I bought two, one to wash and one to feed.

I really like that this is a larger sourdough container. It is much easier to get your hand in there to clean than other versions. My only issue is that the top of the jar has a lip and that sourdough can get stuck there
