Updated Review from 1 to 5 Stars!Original Review: I purchased the one with the black handles last month. Works great. Just got the pink one and the blades are bent and the center is oblong instead of round. Very disappointing quality control. I hope the vendor ships a suitable replacement quickly and checks the quality before shipping.Updated Review: the replacement arrived quickly, and the replacement works as good as the first one. I recommend this product but make sure when you get it that the blades are straight and secure before using.

Easy to use - cuts even slices

Not very sharp
When my old apple slicer finally broke, I looked around for a replacement. I found this one. Seems to be well made and can handle larger fruit. But, it is not very sharp. It cuts, but requires some effort. At 200 lbs, I have plenty of weight to push it through. But, might be difficult for older folks to use ?

It slices!
Pretty much does what it's supposed to do. Actually I've used it on a couple of peaches, I don't believe I've used it on an apple yet. May have to write more later.
