Morocco agate 8mm gemstone bead necklace featuring the stunningly beautiful range of cream to gold to red-brown that is so characteristic of this exotic land. Touches of pink can be seen in this strand and are the result of the presence of compounds known as quinones, similar to pink opals. Moroccan agates are mainly from the Atlas Mountains and are not currently mined commercially, but are collected by locals to sell to gem collectors. Works well as a single strand necklace or wrapped to create a double strand necklace. We make all of our jewelry by hand in our studio. Every piece is fabricated to a very high standard for strength and workmanship.
