According to the instructions, these are so strong that you should only have a piece that is half of a grain of rice so I made sure to cut any larger pieces down. The entire container contains shatters of varying sizes so you really have to use your judgment on which pieces are too large or too small. I tried these for a week straight in the morning with my other supplements and they definitely make you “regular“ and sometimes your stools might be a little too loose. I did a little extra research and learned that you should not take these continuously so I’m reserving them For when I may need a little more assistance with digestion like constipation for that they definitely work!

I took a piece of the aloe ferox the size of half a grain of rice as per the instructions with a glass of water. This product looked especially promising because I suffer from many digestive problems and thought this might be the answer. Perhaps I should have take a bit large piece because the only reaction I had was severe heartburn that couldn’t be relieved. Whether the cause was the aloe or the reaction I had from taking it, I don’t know. I’m sure it will work for many people, but unfortunately I am not among them.Since I swallowed the piece, I can’t comment on the taste because I drank quite a bit of water with it. I wanted to give it a fair trial and took another piece two days later with the same results. I have never used any aloe product in the post, so I didn’t know what type of reaction I’d have. I’m disappointed in that I still have my same old problems and have to resort to a prescription relief.I have one negative comment about the packaging because the lid wasn’t screwed on properly. The little container was wrapped in a clear wrap and there were particles of the product in it. More care needs to be made in that area

My jar came with a loose top so there was some powder in the plastic bag. The Aloe Ferox pieces were intact. I have been taking a small piece daily and after the 4th day I noticed my digestion has improved. I have problems with occasional constipation. Aloe Ferrox is very helpful. There is no after taste and the smell kind of reminds me of charcoal. Only take a teeny tiny amount. This is a small jar but it will last a very long time. Since I use it occasionally, this jar will easily last me a full year, which is a great deal for the low price. I can not speak to any pain relief or immune system benefits. It is very effective for the purpose I use it.

Unlike some other reviewers, my container was screwed on properly and I didn't have leakage. It did not have a security seal on it, which would probably be a plus. The tiny container has many, many dosages -- since the size of half a grain of rice is quite small. It is easy to consume and easy to carry. I will definitely take some with me when I travel. I have used many forms of aloe and really appreciate this plant and its benefits. The taste/odor is not objectionable. I would advise starting out with that tiny dosage they recommend, to give your body a chance to get accustomed to it. I am not sure whether this is a tonic product that can be taken regularly, or if it is really something that should be taken only on occasion, to not develop a laxative dependence on it.

The directions specify that no more than a half rice-granule-size a day be taken, to regulate the digestive system. I found this to be correct, as it was very effective. I chewed it, and the taste and smell reminds me of bitters, but it's easy to swallow with a glass of water. It comes in a .7 ounce jar, but there's a plethora of pellets, so it'll last for a VERY long time. Hence, the price is right. I'm giving it 5 stars.

I’ve been taking this the past few days and although I haven’t noticed a difference in my bowel movements, I’m hoping that it’s working in the background for the other benefits that it claims- gut health, skin, hydration, weight management.The dosage for this is tiny, half the size of a grain of rice, so it’s a little hard to get the dosage right because you have to break the little crystals up. But I do like the fact that you don’t have to take a lot of it for the benefits. The package is so much smaller than I expected which is a plus!! My counter space for my supplements is limited.Aloe ferox is the only ingredients in it, so it’s pure.I did a little research on the company and they seem legit. Worth trying out!

I’m not a doctor, so I can’t speak to what it does—but if you’re worried about strong flavors or odors, this one’s surprisingly neutral.
