BE SURE TO BUY THE NEWEST MODEL!
BE SURE TO BUY THE NEWEST MODEL! I read many negative reviews about the older model, including some very recent reviews. The new model design corrected the uncomfortable seat issue, and the complaints about older model being too small for people taller than 5'6" tall. The new model has an office chair quality seat, which is very comfortable. I'm 5'11" tall, and it works very well for me. I've had it about a month and use it at work 3 days a week. You must have a standing desk to use this chair. It will not work with a regular or even a tall desk. I have my standing desk set at 43" height while I'm using this chair. I'd say a 40" tall desk is about the minimum height to avoid hitting knees on the bottom of the desk (at least for the chair height setting that I'm using). It is relatively quiet. My office fan makes a lot more noise and masks the sound of the chair while I'm pedaling. I highly recommend this chair for someone who works at a computer and wants to get some healthy exercise. I got used to pedaling without even thinking about it. Just need to also have a good fan (and office air-conditioning of course). I'm 100% happy with this chair. Note that it is NOT a recumbent exercise bike. I have one of those that I never have time to use because I don't have extra time. However, I love using this exercise chair while I'm working so no extra time is needed for a workout. This chair is brilliant! I haven't had any issues with it whatsoever. It took a bit of getting used to, because there is nothing else like it that I've ever tried. I can comfortably use this chair every day whether I'm pedaling or not (which is a good thing since someone at work saw that I wasn't using my office chair and took it, so I'm sitting in this exercise chair all day). I feel this chair is such a blessing. My iPhone measures my steps/pedal rotations, and I'm burning over 2000 calories per day! I literally thank God for this exercise chair!

Flexispot V6 High Back
Pros:Arrived on timeEasy to assemble.Works well to create some activity in my totally sedentary work from home job.Seat moves up, down, forward and back so you can adjust to your liking. The chair does not move if the wheels are locked. The machine is quiet. The pedal mechanism is smooth.Cons:If you are under 5'6" you may have minor issues with the chair back. I am 5'4 and too short to effectively use the lumber support or headrest. The chair does not move if the wheels are locked. As the seat does not swivel getting up or down from the bike with the wheels locked can be a challenge. When the wheels are unlocked it will move on it's own driving you directly against your desk. It's easier for me to move my desk (also on wheel) to get up and down, than to continuously roll into and push myself back from my desk. The seat back is a little far back from the seat cushion. I do not know if this would be a con to a taller person. For me it is not a huge issue, but I would prefer it be closer.Recommendation to Buyers: If you work at home at a desk all day, night or both, this is a good investment, just make sure to buy the low back no arm rests.Recommendation to Manufacturer: Make the chair seat swivel so it the boke can be locked in place and people can get in and out without moving the machine or their desk.

Comfy chair and exercise companion
Pretty easy and smooth assembly is a plus for a guy without too much patience, and it is good that to have a very self explanatory notes that labeled even the corresponding steps in the instruction book! Sitting for hours after putting it together today, so far I love it and it is comfortable and even my cat wants to sit on it now. The adjustable resistance settings on the hand wheel is easy to use and the height adjustment is pretty good. The headset and back support also makes happy coz it really helps with my back pain when I sit for a long time!

Unique product that is worth the buy - but far from perfect!
I have had several exercise bikes and managed 5000+ miles on the bike I had prior to this one. I have now reached 400 miles on this FlexiSpot bike and here are the good and the bad.Good:The chair part is overall sturdy and solid. It’s OK comfortable and I can definitely spend a full day sitting in it. It was easy to build and felt like quality the whole way through. When working from home, this is such a no brainer and I burn several hundred calories throughout my work day using this product. Not the best chair I’ve ever had but the price is fair for what you get!Bad:Not even 24 hours in, the internal bike wheel starting rustling and never stopped. Sounds like mechanical belt noises. They come and go but always come back once you go back to pedaling after a pause. The bike still works but it makes me question the quality of the bike part of this product. The lumbar is atrocious. It is a piece of plastic that dug into my back and was super uncomfortable at any setting. I cut out foam to fill in the gap between the mesh and the lumbar. Much better.I have the seat all the way back and I find that it should be able to move back another 2-4 inches. If you are tall, I think this bike is too uncomfortable for extended periods. I’m 5 foot 8 and find that the seat positioning is strange compared to usual bikes and I wish I could have moved the seat back those extra inches. The stat calculator on the bike is overwhelmingly inaccurate. The calorie counter is very conservative. The calories calculated are less than HALF of any other bike I’ve had based on similar distance and speed. Any online calculator doubles the calorie numbers based on the distance and time that the flexispot bike displays. Given that my last bikes all had similar numbers and any online calculator is close to that, I can only assume this bike is inaccurate. You need a standing desk to use this bike. Period. No ordinary desk will accommodate this bike. Not flexispot’s problem but be sure to note this before purchasing. I had to buy another desk.Summary:Even though this bike isn’t fantastic, I’ve rated it 3 stars simply for the fact that this product stands entirely alone on the market. Nothing to compare to. It is not a fantastic chair, it is not a fantastic exercise bike, but the ability to exercise when working all day is priceless. There are no other alternatives for similar health benefits. With future improvements to this product, it could be perfect! Once it is, it would be worth $750, no questions.
