I have an elderly, arthritic 65+ pound dog. She can no longer jump up on the old sofa where she used to nap or get in the SUV by herself. Climbing stairs is painful for her, so folding stairs were out of the question. I tried a plastic dog ramp but it didn't seem like they safely attached to the car. It also moved a lot when my dog tried to walk on it. After a try or two, she point blank refused to use the ramp..Since there is a road trip in our future, I really needed to find a way to get my girl in and out of the SUV without pain. I bought this wedge pillow and also, a 24 inch piece of dense foam:https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BM593SHH?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details&th=1The foam I bought is 24X24X6, It goes underneath and the wedge pillow sits on top. It makes a mostly firm ramp. But since it still has some give, walking on it doesn't seem to hurt my girl's arthritic hips as much as the hard ramp did.We first tried it on the sofa. I put the two pieces together (the wedge on top of the foam square) and pushed em up against the sofa. It was exactly the right height. I coaxed her with a few treats, and she walked right up my makeshift ramp. Since it was pushed up against the sofa, it stayed in place and did not move. It makes a very easy incline, too. Persuading her to come down the same way took a bit more doing, but once she figured out it was not going to hurt, she was fine.Once she got used to my ramp, we tried it on the SUV. My girl's way of getting into the SUV is to climb onto the floor on the passenger side. From there, she seems to be able to get up on the seat. At first the ramp had nothing to brace against and moved a bit. But I discovered, there is a metal brace of some kind under the SUV, about four inches from the side of the vehicle. I pushed the ramp slightly under the SUV and up against the brace. In no time, my girl was sitting on the passenger seat---and looking very proud of herself too!

I use for elevating my legs in bed!Great for relaxing legs and feet!!

I'll start with the pros:The washable cover makes cleaning it no problem and it feels thick and durable so I have no concerns using spot treatment or machine washing, it's very supportive and nice to put your feet up on, it's good to prop up on and watch TV or use my laptop with, and it's very affordableNow the cons: it's very firm to the point of being uncomfortable and it's very big, which is sometimes nice but mostly inconvenient and causes me neck pain when I fall asleep on it. Most of the time I end up moving it before I plan on sleepingIf you're considering this, you should definitely go with the 9" option instead of the 12" option unless you're using it to elevate your legs

I am more than pleased. I haven’t washed the cover but hope it is easy to take off and put back on. I love the size. I got the small one which suits my petite size. I thought the price was fair. I sleep with my own pillow on top of it so basically I’m using wedge to elevate the pillow of my choice.
