This is a battery camping lantern which is both lightweight and solar rechargeable (it can also be plugged in to recharge too).The light itself is nice and bright and fully adjustable for brightness. The colour/temperature of the light can also easily be adjusted to suit your preferences. Depending on the brightness this light can keep running for up to 48 hours continuously which is brilliant. This will almost certainly last on a single charge for a short camping trip. If it doesn't however it can be recharges by the sun. The lamp folds down to reveal two solar panels which can be adjusted to get the best angle to the sun for more efficient charging.If you are looking for a lamp to take with you camping this is ideal and I would highly recommend it.

I know there’s quite a few Solar Lantern’s on the Market at the moment, but this is one with a difference! - The only way I can describe this really is that it opens-up a bit like a Flower does, revealing not just one Light & Solar Panel, but Two! These can Tilt, which is particularly useful in spreading the Light out over a Larger Area, or Directing the Solar Panels at a Specific Angle to receive the best Sunlight. The real bonus though is that because it’s Solar Powered, you don’t have to worry about having to renew the Batteries and it’s definitely better for the environment. Overall, it’s a Perfect item to have for Camping, Backpacking, or just going in your Bushcraft/Survival Bag - And for the Price, you Can’t Go Wrong. I Love It! Thank you.

The Hapfish Rechargeable Camping Light is bigger than expected. It’s definitely a lantern for car camping. Not lightweigh not compact for backpacking. Having said that, this camping light is very practical for a long stay in campsites as it has a big battery capacity of 5000 mAh and it could be recharged using the integrated solar panels. It also possible to recharge it plugging to a main source via the usb cable supplied. The design is very clever as the panels could be opened and placed in horizontal position, helping to widen the illuminated area if the lantern is hanging from the ceiling of the tent. I like that the brightness of the light is dimmable. However, I don’t feel that the light is so brigh at its maximum level. But it spreads a pleasant ambient light for inside the tent. This product seems made of good quality materials and it should last several camping seasons.

This rechargeable camping light is made of amazing and durable quality, it includes batteries and it is very bright. Ideal for travelling because it is also very portable and it's solar.

This is a good quality lantern that would be ideal as a camping light, not least because – by opening the two halves of the lantern – it can be charged by sunlight through the integrated solar panels. At home, it can easily be charged using the supplied USB-A to USB-C cable. The lantern feels solidly made, and the emitted light is nice and bright. The ability to select one of three lighting modes -- --plus a stepless dimming facility – is an added bonus. This would make a nice present for a camping enthusiast but would also – of course – serve equally well as an emergency home light in the event of a power cut. Very happy to recommend.

Let's just address the elephant in the room and say, did you notice this light is solar powered? Game changer. And I don't like using those clichés lightly. Within days of receiving this light, we had a rare thunderstorm with lots of lightning and lost power for hours. At the time, we had no idea how long the power would be out. I have tons of LED camping lights and we lit up the house but it got me thinking...what if the power was out for days? This light solves that problem with the built-in solar panels. And the way it's incorporated into the design of the light is clever and innovative. We need more solutions like this for LED camping lights.I like how the gull wing light panels are infinitely variable. They can only move up/down and do not rotate, which is nice. When they are in the closed position, there are two little magnets that help keep it closed. There is a dimmer function and three different white balance options. You can also charge it via USB-C as well as by sunlight.The handle is a love/hate relationship. It's metal and the function and style are on point. It doubles as a handle and a hook, which is great when camping as it transitions from hanging in your tent to your hand for that after sunset adventure. What I don't like about the handle is that it doesn't lock or secure in the up position. It's a bit squirrelly when you pick it up because of the movement. This is not a deal breaker folks.The other thing I appreciate about this light is the diffused panels for the LED lights. I have a few camping lights that are super bright LED lights and there is no diffusion, so it's like trying to avoid staring at the sun in the middle of the night. Even worse in a tent. This light is a nice, soft diffused light that you will really appreciate inside your tent. The outer edge of the panel seems darker than the front and the top seems darker as well. Not sure if that's the way the LED lights are spaced out or by design.Overall, this is an easy recommendation and would also make a great gift. Once you take it camping, you'll be hooked. And knowing that you can charge it with the built-in solar panels gives you peace of mind during extended power outages.
