Mantis7566-12-02 Deluxe XP 4-Cycle Tiller with Kickstand, 16-Inch

Great little guy with power, second one, long lasting, money saving and will order again when needed.

Perfect for previously tilled small garden. Larger rocks get stuck between tines easily. This tiller replaced a much larger and heavier duty tiller and I couldn’t be happier with it,

Good quality use ethanal free fuel if you not going to use this at least 2 times a year replace the gass every year or you will gum up the carb as all small engines

Great machine for tilling and detaching lawn...except one thing. The throttle control is like a pistol grip on the right handle. One must hold the lever in against a spring return for the entire use, You can only fit two fingers the lever and it is very skinny.in width. After about a half hour of use it becomes painful. If the throttle grip was redesigned, I would give this machine 6 stars.

Packaging protected the product during shipping. Lots of cardboard. Only item for consideration is the throttle cable was buried in the packing it difficult to remove w/o damage. I had knowledge of the cable but still damaged the bullet connector. Replacement connector unavailable locally. Two weeks before I could fix. Ironically this connector is what failed in previous Mantis product. Very pleased with performance of Mantis. Much more powerful than old

My years of Amazon happiness ended when my new Mantis XP tiller arrived damaged on 7/16/23. The plastic engine shroud has a 3.4” crack in it and does not even sit flush. The ground wire was also severed at the quick connect, which is easy to repair and not worth bothering Amazon or Mantis over. However, engine shroud needing to be replaced is a problem.So here is how it went for me.Amazon will not accept the return as the item is considered non-returnable, although their policy states the exception of shipping damage which they refused to honor (despite being applicable and documented) and directed me to Mantis. I filled out a contact form online with Mantis on 7/16/23….no response. I followed up by phone on 7/18/23 with 45 minutes of calls on hold, redirected calls, and finally I gave up.After all that, I will just buy a new engine shroud and repair the ground wire myself.I hope this helps someone. Reviews are not my thing, but this experience was crazy.

Just wondering if honda stands behind what they sell this one was purchased thru the Honda Store on Amazon! I worked as expected till april, 22nd then is was lots of white smoke from the exhaust? Oil was maintained and filled to proper level, anyone else having this problem or a solution to the problem?
