Ordered these for my nephew at Christmas and we all had so much fun with them!

As noted in the title, this review is for the gray model, not the black model. Most of the negative reviews seem to be for the black model, which is completely different than this model. The black model is modeled after a semi-auto pistol. This model is like a single-shot pistoled shotgun.I have taken my son to the range for years and even though he loves firing live rounds, he enjoys toy guns like this one. In the simplest form, he said he gun is great – for the price. For under $10.00 at the time of writing, it loads easily, ejects well, trigger is smooth, and after around 50 rounds, there were no stuck rounds.He said they only things he would improve (again, this is a cheaper model, so they aren’t expected) would be a hammer instead of a pull-type loading mechanism. But, this doesn’t take away from any stars since it was designed to be loaded from the bottom.

This looks good, built well, making the durability and functionality work well.Grandson loves playing with this. It's a good value for the money. Fun for kids.Only 2 thoughts:1. Keep in mind the age is 8+ for recommendation. Theres a great reason for this, as when it's shot, this little "bullet" packs a punch!2. Small parts, as in 2 pieces to a bullet to shoot. (Where shoes) Lol

These things are quality for sure, and fun to play with. But don’t shoot your kids like I did. They cried lol. Not fun.

I am giving 2 stars because in the picture it has two guns with 3 shells and 4 darts for each gun but in the description, it states that "Our products include 1 toy gun, 1 magazine, 20 foam bullets, 16 shells." I honestly was not expecting there to be 16 shells and 20 darts (would have been nice though) but was upset that there was not at least the 6 and 8 in the picture. With only two per gun, you take more time loading the shell and then loading the gun than shooting, otherwise these are fun. Just an FYI for the consumer.

I had to knock off a star because when I received it, all the bullets were crammed in the box loosely, and two of them had been crushed by the inner edge of the top of the box, creasing them permanently and making them useless. Otherwise, everything in this box of fun was just awesome. You got some range with those little foam darts, and it sure does kick the empty "shells" out. Adults have to watch keeping their hands away from the cocking rod, but it's hard as it's in the grip. That said, you get used to it. This really is a lot of fun, and mine is destined to be done up as a steampunk gun. Well worth it!

The two pistols are really cool and have such a good break action. Great gift

Well.My 8yo has an incessant need for a constant Nerf War.He has revolvers, single shotters, lever action, Mandalorian copies, wrist devices, and fully-electro auto massive drum-fed dart tossers.Well. This is finally one that makes me Nerd out.Feed a dart in a tube, breech load it, dispense it, pop the tube and out flies a shell.Yes. Reminds me of the M203, and it's basically that mixed with a Martini-Henry.Fun. Happy with it. Pocket size extra-step Nerf fun.
