I haven't used my shea butter yet, but all looks good. The color is consistent with some shea butters that I have bought in the past, and I could smell it as soon as I opened the box although it was wrapped in about three different plastics. I wish it had arrived in a container instead of a plastic bag, so I wouldn't need to buy a container, but at such a reduced price I can't complain. Just running my hand along the inside of the plastic bag reminded me of much I missed my shea!Great customer service, Great price as well! Cheapest I can find around my way is $5 per pound, and some don't even look like a pound. I didn't weigh the shea butter I received, but from throwing it in my hand, it feels just like a 5 lb. bag of sugar.

Very gritty, thought it would be much smoother texture, especially after straining.

Right away I noticed this shay butter was different than any other I have bought to date. It's paler than the other. I know it can range from yellow which is what I normally see to an ivory color. This is the closest to ivory I've seen. The other thing I noticed this batch is smoother, creamer, silkier and softer. If I knew how to tell the differences before I bought them I would choose this one every time unless of course there is silkier still, smile.

This was an excellent item to purchase. I use it for my hair and body and at this size it is more than enough for me to use. This should last me about a year.

This item arrived just as advertised, in it's purest form. The smell is tastyand it's buttery texture melts into the skin. I Love It! Thanks guys. I can't waitto start using it.
