Works well for home projects, better w/some than others, will continue to test on new things
The media could not be loaded. Grabbed this Handheld Steam Cleaner because we have a senior cat who has some accidents and to deal with that grease build up in the kitchen from cooking. In the time we’ve had the Handheld Steam Cleaner we’ve been able to try it on a few things to varying degrees of success, but we feel like overall it has been helpful. We have no experiences to compare it to, so this review is 100% based on the Handheld Steam Cleaner alone.1. Arrived with a great kit. Note the photo: it even includes the gloves. Also several heads, the tubing attached to the main unitard basic instructions.2. Instructions are basic, but the machine is basic to use. The end pieces included are labeled here including what they are for. Overall they produce the information you need.3. There is a drain plug on the bottom to empty. Make sure you wait until the unit is cooled down before doing this. The unit and hose get pretty hot, hence the inclusion of the gloves.4. There is an on/off button on the main unit, so when you turn this on, the machine begins spraying. There is no on/off release on the actual nozzle.5. We used the Handheld Steam Cleaner first on the grease to see if it does what we’d hoped for. We’d give it a 5 out of 5 for getting the grease off the cabinets. Our “venting system” is pretty much non-existent, so that grease from cooking fills the cabinets, ceiling, walls... we only tried it on the cabinets (other spots are more difficult to get to) and it worked well for our test. You can see in the before and after pictures as well as the video that the Handheld Steam Cleaner removes it pretty quickly and well. We’re hoping it’s as easy on the ceiling, but we’re feeling positive.6. We decided to give it a try on the bathtub. Where we live the water is hard and the humidity it so bad we have to clean the grout often and replace it once a year. We’d hoped the Handheld Steam Cleaner would help us with that cleaning. As you can again see in the photos, it was successful with the hard water stains at the drain, however, it was less so with the mold on the grout. We’re not entirely “upset” or let down by this lack of cleaning - we have tried many different means by which to clean (and eliminate) the mold, but literally nothing has done any better than the Handheld Steam Cleaner. It is the nature of the beast here. But, we do feel like it did help better than many, or equal to other tries. So we ar taking it as a win because it did lessen the scrubbing somewhat.Which brings me to, this Handheld Steam Cleaner is a pretty good aide in getting things cleaned and we feel like it’s making tasks easier. We will continue to try it on new things. But we also know we will continue to need elbow grease and other means by which to get things fully clean.Mentioned above, we have not yet tested the carpet for the cat pee. That will be soon, when we can block that area for awhile to allow it to dry. We are also looking at a chair to clean. It says it’s good for fabric, so we ‘know’ the chair should work, we don’t know about the carpet. When we are able to do that, we’ll update here.In the mean time, we are feeling positive about the Handheld Steam Cleaner as it is already showing ways to make cleaning a bit easier. So we look forward to more ways...

Handheld Steamer
I truly appreciate this steam cleaner for its compact design, which makes it incredibly easy to store and maneuver around the house. Its lightweight nature allows me to carry it effortlessly from room to room, making cleaning tasks much more manageable. While I have encountered some reviews that express disappointment regarding its power, I personally believe that it strikes a commendable balance between strength and efficiency, especially when considering its size and price point. It's important to recognize that this steam cleaner is designed to serve a specific purpose, and I find that aspect to be quite valuable. It excels in tackling smaller cleaning jobs, such as refreshing upholstery, sanitizing surfaces, and dealing with minor stains, which is exactly what I need for my home. The convenience of having a tool that can quickly address these tasks without taking up too much space is a significant advantage. However, there is one feature I wish it had: a manual trigger for operation. Currently, the need to turn the unit on and off at the base can be a bit cumbersome, especially when I'm in the middle of a cleaning session and need to pause briefly. A manual trigger would allow for more control and ease of use, enhancing the overall experience. Despite this minor drawback, I still find the steam cleaner to be a worthwhile addition to my cleaning arsenal, and I appreciate the value it brings to my routine.

Powerful, heats up quickly, lots of steam, multiple nozzles for different tasks. A winner!
The media could not be loaded. This is a great little portable steam cleaner. The box for the cleaner and its accessories and power cable is about the size of a large 4 slot toaster. The actual steam generating device with water tank, handle, is about the size of a child’s lunch box. This unit is really well designed. The weigh with one cup of water in the tank is still very light. The power cable is very long being approximately 8 feet long. And, the steam cable that brings steam from the heating element to the tip of the cable is approximately 6 feet long. There is an on/off switch and a “+” plus button for greater steam flow, and a” –“ minus button to reduce the steam flow. Once you power on the device, a bright LED read out lists the time to hot steam. For me, it was less than a minute. There is one master black plastic nozzle upon which all other nozzle attachments are pushed onto. This “master” nozzle can connect either directly to the end of the cable by screwing it onto the metal threads, or an metal extension rod can connect to the cable, and the “master” nozzle goes onto the end of the extension rod. It doesn’t show in the video, but at first when starting this up from cold, some water will be ejected first. Then, steam will come out. When turning off the power, the steam flow does not immediately end as there is no valve on the end of the any of the nozzles. This means that steam will continue to flow out for 3-4 seconds after you turn off the power. The steam cable housing is metal and it does get hot. I used this on two very difficult projects, a stove vent hood that got greasy, and the surface of a stove that had not been regularly wiped down. For the hot, after applying steam, a good rub down with cleaner, removed the grease build up. For the stove top, steam for 8 or 9 seconds followed with rubbing with a wooden popsicle stick remove the cooked on oil. At that point rubbing with spray cleaner did the job. The last thing I experimented with was spraying kitchen cabinets immediately adjacent to the stove vent hood which gathers cooking oil fumes. With a bit of elbow grease and spray cleaner this cleaned up as well. I would suggest that when using this, you have handy an employ coffee can to catch the small bits of cool water that is first ejected from the nozzle when initially starting up the unit. This water eject does not happen after the steamer is hot and you have been using it. Additionally, when you’ve powered off the unit, you can immediately stick the extension wand and nozzle into the coffee can to catch the steam that will still spray for 3-4 seconds. The coffee can will also be a safe way to temporary place the wand which gets very hot. This steamer allows the use of tap water. The instructions include "descaling" instructions if using tap water. To avoid that "descaling" chore, I am using distilled water. I’m very happy with this convenient and effective steam cleaning tool!
