The media could not be loaded. I bought, and used, this great little fan whilst in hospital. I’d unexpectedly found myself there for a month following a serious leg injury, and the heat during May had been unbearable. My sister had brought a power strip in to me, so I could watch my 10” TV, and charge my phone and a power bank, and this also enabled me to use this mini fan on my over-bed table. On occasions, I even placed it on the bed beside me.The fan was nicely boxed, and came with the charging cable attached. It has an on/off switch on the back, and a built in stand which can be adjusted/angled in two positions. The ‘heat and speed’ are not adjustable, but it gives a perfectly gentle cooling breeze, and is not noisy. In an office it would be perfect on a desk, as the steady breeze would not blow papers all over the place.This is the first fan I have seen with a carrying handle. The handle is made from what looks and feels like faux leather, and I found it extremely useful as I could carry it around, in working mode, connected to a mini power bank in my pocket. During the long hot summer I kept this mini fan switched on all night ,on the bedside table, directed towards my face - without it disturbing my sleep…. in fact, it aided sleep, and was a godsend.

There are some cheaper alternatives and some more expensive alternatives. I probably wouldn't pay any more than the current sale price for a product of this nature though.The style is what in my opinion sets this apart from the competition. The leather handle allowing a solid, durable handle and adding a retro look whilst retaining an air of quality! It is also discrete, compact and sensibly coloured.It is incredibly simple to use. Plug in the USB to the power source; PC, power bank, etc, then turn the switch on, on the back of the fan (simple on and off switch) and there you have it. It is advisable to adjust the legs to one of their 2 positions before starting the fan.The cable is of an adequate length for most use. It wouldn't want to be much longer as it could then become a nuisance.You have to remember when you are comparing the heat dissipation/effectiveness of the fan that it is considerably smaller, uses considerably less power and probably makes less noise than your equivalent full sized desktop fan which is also far less portable.For the right circumstances this fan is ideal. The fan is ideal to have on your desk aside your PC as this is probably a good distance that the fan isn't in your face but can still be felt.It would be an ideal gift for the workmate who is impossible to buy for, family, friends or even a treat for yourself!I would happily recommend the product and feel the build quality, style and materials use are well reflected in the current sale price.

Had this little gem for a while....and it has been an absolute gem of a buy ...... Where to start? Robust? The poor little thing has been battered to within an inch of its life....but it still looks as good as new. Power? Well it's not going to blow your wig off but you will feel the breeze in you hair. Best Quality? The look on everyone's face as they peer at you from behind the beads of sweat that are accumulating on their faces as we trundle along in a crammed train carriage "enjoying" our daily commute. This is essential kit, especially if you have to undertake the daily grind to earn a crust

I would give this 6 stars if I could - When work colleagues hog the 'one' fan allocated for 6+ people, this is an ideal size and does the trick connected to my laptop at work on hot days. It's quite'ish and gives out enough air to stay cool.

This has been a godsend at work during all the heat this summer. It plugs into the USB port and away it goes and has kept me lovely and cool. It is very quiet and a nice colour and easy to transport. Nice size and does the job. Cannot fault it.

Bought for my mum to have at the side of her bed she loved it. Made a gentle breeze and didn't interupt with her book reading
