So I have a relentless barking 50lb+ border collie/shepherd "for-the-devil" mix that barks all night long at unseen forces... When she starts up, she triggers my screaming/talking husky mix into a panic and it sounds like someone is physically dying outside because he cant stand for her to bark, so he'll make this God awful sound(a mix of a banshee cry and toddler sounding jibber) trying to make her stop (for any of you that have Huskies you know what I'm talking about). But here recently she will not shut up and I was at my wits end.. so I found this on Amazon, it had amazing reviews and decided to give it a try. It came in this tiny ass little box and I thought "there's no way in hell that this is going to work.." but the f_&%# rang true and worked the first night! She started up about 1:30 in the morning and I heard 3 barks and quiet.. a few minutes later i heard an "oof" and silence.. all I could do was giggle and roll back over knowing I was about to get the best sleep in weeks 😂. The instructions tell you how to test it out so you can feel what it does to the dog before hand. This by no means hurts them! All it does is beep and vibrate but it has 7 different levels that starts with a 2 warning beeps and then it'll start vibrating if the dog keeps up. The vibration is hard but nothing that will hurt, but it'll most definitely catch their attention though. I dont think mine has pushed it past the 3rd level, hehehe😂. We take it off of her during the day and just put it on at night. I would most definitely recommend this for big hard headed dogs though! Works on the first bark!

After reading the reviews and description. I decided to give it a try. It worked well for the first 3 weeks. Then it started not responding to the barking and finally just quit. I thought it was the battery and changed it. Even bought a battery at the store in case the extra one wasn't any good. The collar had no visible signs of damage nor did it get wet. Although it is supposed to be rain proof. Rather disappointed that it stopped working within a month of purchasing. I had actually purchased another one for our other dog from another company and it is working fine and that one has gotten wet and been through the same wear and tear as this model.

First few days with this collar, it's amazing. Our incurable protective Carolina dog (50 pounds) gets into a zone when she starts barking, and she ignores all commands. The collar's high whistle gets her attention immediately and she stops barking to try to find the noise. So far she's never even pushed the collar to the vibrating stage. My only negative about the collar is that I wish it didn't have the prongs that poke into the dog's neck. Our dog is short-haired, and the prongs seem meant for a long-haired bushy-necked animal. They're just uncomfortable, and the collar's vibrating smooth box would serve the same purpose for her.

My dog barks at a high, loud pitch that is annoying so we bought this collar. He jumps and barks all over guests when they arrive. I put this collar on when I had a few guests coming and after 1st guest = 3 barks, 2nd guest = 1 bark and 3rd guest = 1 bark. He didn’t jump or anything. He heads the new and just stopped. He also loves car rides and barks to let you know he wants to get in the car and put od the car. One time wearing this collar and he hasn’t barked leaving or coming home at all. I think we are on our way to a whole new life here!!

At first, the beeping sound somewhat startled my dog (a one-year-old chihuahua schnauzer mix), and the first vibration scared the bejeezus out of him, LOL! His barking became slightly muted because he knew what was coming. I will say he didn't react to the beeping at all, and the vibration is only triggered on the third bark that the device senses. Your dog can bark 8 times, but the device may only sense two of those barks thus only activating the two warning beeps and not the vibration at all. For me the device is pointless!! My dog shakes intentionally so the collar will not stay in place, ultimately keeping the device from sensing his barking. Even when we have the collar on super tight, he'll just shake so the probes won't be on his throat. He must be smarter than whoever designed this!!Advice to consumers: it may work AT FIRST, but unless your dog isn't as smart as the average Fido... they'll figure out how to get around this method of "training" too!!Lastly, my dog is about 15lbs, and once we adjusted the strap to fit his neck, there's about 5-6" of the ​strap just dangling loosely off the collar. What's the purpose of that design??

Purchased the collar hoping it would stop our dog from barking. We have tried many different brands and styles and nothing has worked. This may work on your dog but didn't work on ours. If the collar vibrated as well as had a sound that was difficult for the dog to hear it may work better. Instead, it vibrates and produces a sound but our dog has grown used to both within two weeks and does not deter him from barking.
