I didn't think this slim rubber band would work for my running, but it does help and feels better than the wrap around support I have been using. Even my husband, who has two bad knees felt the support and said he thought it helped him perform his stress test!! I would recommend

This strap feels like if you had very mild runner's knee it could help, but if you have bad runner's knee, I would probably go with one of the brands that has the velcro strap that you can adjust to allow more or less pressure below the knee cap. Overall the product seems ok, but I can't say it will work well on worse conditions of runner's knee.

This is a must have for people with issues with their knees. I found that it was relatively comfortable while I was wearing it, and wasn’t too tight on my leg. It provided me with a lot more stability in the wonky me that I’ve had for a while, I am subsequently I was able to do a lot more outside while I was wearing it.
