Awesome product for umpires!!
Great distance, great quality, great using the ear piece, battery life is great, used these with my partner during a 4 day SB Tournament, did not charge them until I got back home! I highly recommend! They were so good, during the tournament, the owner/director asked me what I had in my ear & why. I explained to him that it’s how my partner & I communicate during the game without interfering game play by having to call time. & I recommended them to him to utilize for all umpires during tournaments & have each channel designated for the field # & have the directive on a stand alone channel for when an umpire may need them to come to the field for any issue that may arise. 5 minutes later he order a 12 pack combo with charging base!

Evaluate time unsolicited .as a retired Army. Tactical Comm Chief. I know my Radio's and these are something Special. I have radio's in my war room worth hundreds and these work just as good if not better. A real deal for 20 Bucks 😲.

A decent pair of FRS walkie talkies with good range and rechargeable batteries
I got these walkie talkies for camping and hiking trips with my friends. They are easy to use and have 22 FRS two way channels to choose from. They have a mic and earphone accessory socket on the side and a push to talk button on the other side. The manual says they have a range of up to 5 kilometers, but I was only able to get a clear signal up to a mile. Maybe it depends on the terrain and weather conditions. The channels 8 to 14 are low power mode with output less than 0.5 watts, while the rest of the channels are up to 2 watts transmit power. The walkie talkies have rechargeable lithium-ion battery packs that last for a good amount of time. They come with a charger that has two USB outputs, so you can charge both units at the same time. It takes about 3 - 4 hours to fully charge them. The cons are that there is no display to indicate the channel and other settings, so you have to rely on the voice prompts and beeps. The radio uses a legacy USB B type charging connector, which is outdated and not compatible with most of my devices. I wish they would use USB C instead, which is more convenient and the the current standard. There is also no option to lock the channel, which is annoying because the channel up down buttons are placed next to the PTT switch and it's easy to accidentally change channels while talking or holding the radio.Overall, these are a decent pair of simple walkie talkies with long range and rechargeable batteries, but they could use some improvements in design and features. I would give them 3.5 stars.

Walkies do not hold charge
Very disappointed on walkies. Not what I expected. Batteries do not charged. Died really quick. Or does not hold charge. I would not recommend them.

Great little license-free radios
These say that they are license-free out of the box. I found this to be fully accurate. First, they are preprogrammed with all 22 license-free FRS channels right out of the box, and all have the correct power settings and bandwidth already programmed. The TidRadio bluetooth programmer and ODMaster app are compatible with these radios, so filter codes can be added if desired, and additional settings can be programmed as well. I especially like the belt clips and neck straps, both of which are removable. The battery pack is also replaceable and the radio can be charged by mini USB, which is a huge plus, as the USB cables can be plugged into any power bank. The battery being internal rather than snapping onto the back of the radio also makes these lighter and smaller than other similar radios. My only complaint is that although the battery pack looks and feels nearly identical to a BL5C battery, it is actually turned around in reverse, so a regular BL5C will not fit. Still, the price nearly makes it better just to buy new radios instead of new batteries that cost about 2/3 the price. The biggest plus for me was the fact that as soon as I powered these radios on, they spoke to me, telling me "power on" and speaking the channel number. Every time I switch the channel, the channel number is spoken. This can probably be turned off in the programming settings, but I don't intend to program the radios that way, as the spoken channels are perfect for my needs, especially since the radios have no display screen, but I wouldn't be able to see one if it had it in any case.Overall, I am very pleased with these radios, and have purchased more. I highly recommend them to anyone who needs a set of two-way radios that work out of the box and don't require a license to operate them.

So so
Bought these for work. Love the design and ease of use. I do not like how fast they stop working.
