Took a chance on reviews, solid product for jeep grand cherokee 2015
After reading various reviews on how the product wasn't working and the overall score I still decided to take a chance on the product. I used this for my jeep grand cherokee 2015 and immediately when I received the product I noticed that the picture from this webpage didn't match what I received. Instead of small tabs with a small piece of tape, the product has a solid tab from one end to the other with a long strip of continuous tape. It feels like they may have now modified their design based on the feedback but they should probably update this image to reflect that. So after noticing that I went ahead with the installation and one thing I would also call out is that the instructions page that I got had no English instructions. They were spanish/french. This wasn't a huge deal for me as I more or less figured it out from watching videos online about it, in fact you can get the instructions from their website if you want to. I took the advise from the feedback i read in some reviews and made sure that the front/back tabs didn't go into the window channel but rather between the door post/rubber and set the visors in for 24+ hrs. I've now used them for a couple days and they feel sturdy and look great, it is a very slim profile that doesn't interfere with the chrome trim around my windows. Overall I'm glad I took the risk and went ahead with the purchase as some of the other options are way more expensive and don't look or feel any better. If I had only one complaint it would be the white company AVS logo on them but I'm sure you could do something about that yourself.

They don’t fit
I really, really wanted to like these because they are Made in America, and I try to support that as much as possible. They look good when installed, but they block the front windows from rolling up, so you get into this battle with the auto up/down feature. You have to physically move the visor in order for the window to clear it; the issue seems to be in the corner closest to the door opening. The rear ones cleared without issue, but it just looks dumb to only have visors on the rear windows. The adhesive that comes installed is next to useless; the first time I rolled the window up it popped the visor off onto the ground. I ended up ordering some VHB tape, which worked a little better (they didn’t pop off all the times the window hit it, but they come off fairly easily when I pulled them off - after 72 hours of keeping the windows rolled up). If it doesn’t work as advertised, then it isn’t worth it IMHO. Since I prefer the look of the in-channel mount over the tacky looking outside mount, I’ll return these and try to find some that will not interfere with use of the windows.

Not as good as they use to be!!
These work fine but if you buy them you will have to buy real 3m tape to install them properly!! The tape they supply DOES NOT HOLD!!!! And the fit rather loosely!!! I almost lost 2 of them just driving down the toad because the tape they supply has no grip!!! Even if you clean the area we'll with the alcohol pads and scuff up your window seal!! So if you buy expect yo spend another 20 to 35 dollars for quality tape!!!!!

Not worth the money, or effort for that matter
I should have returned them as soon as I opened them. Once I tried to remove the plastic, the red tape covering the adhesive tape came off with the plastic when means that the tape was not sticky. Once I put them down n the doors after cleaning out the inner sills as instructed, I noticed a few issues. First off, they were a really tight fit, too long to be exact. They were so long, in fact, that the visor actually bowed out to the point that the tape wasn’t making contact 100% across the sill. Second issue was when I went to roll the windows up, the visors were in the way. The only way to fix that was to get inside the car, push out on the visor as I rolled the window up without getting my hand stuck in the window. Once I got the windows up, I left them up for 48 hrs assuming the pressure from the window would help seal the tape inside the sill. Guess what, it didn’t. When I went to take these pieces of garbage off, since every time I rolled the window up it would hit the visors, they cracked. So much for shatterproof or unbreakable.

Love the look- But they don't last
I always loved the look of the in-channel visors. Just not a fan of installing them. They aren't hard to install, just need to take time to make sure they are lined up correctly and the auto up windows still work.I have had these on multiple vehicles in the past, and the usually hold up well. Time will tell with these.Update:I originally purchased and received these on August 27, 2021. I reviewed them the next day when I installed them. Today is September 26,2021, and when I got in my Grand Cherokee this morning, I noticed that the drivers side was no longer sticking. I was staying in place by the front and back, where they sit under the trim. But the adhesive was no longer holding. So I removed the drivers side, and cleaned off and put new 3M tape. Then continued to re-install. Just about done and the front, cracked. ##**%$#$#* !!!!! I was not happy. So, I decided to just remove them all, and go without. After I pulled the drivers side off, that I was in the middle of putting back on, I went to the other 3. And they came right out. Barely was sticking.I am SO lucky this happened today. I contacted Amazon, packaged them back up, and already dropped them off at the UPS store for a refund. 1 day shy of not being able to return these. I was already set to throw these out and just take the loss. Good thing I checked on when I ordered these.I am VERY disappointed in these. I had in-channel vent visors on my Ram truck for years without any issues. I really like the look of these over the stick on ones, but I guess it is with how they go on the Grand Cherokee over other vehicles, that this won't work.

Somethings off for avs than normal
Always bought avs for my jeeps. These for some reason in the front 2 guards didn't have adhesive on the front/ back sides ( small part that goes on the sides of the front windows. Without it, window won't close, so had to improvise. Not sure if it was a glitch on this set but never had an issue with all our jeeps in the past. Always have been sturdy & reliable. So if improvising a little was all I'm ok with it.

Did not fit and had to pay to return
This product does not fit. Seller should have known this and do not offer to customers. If it does not fit it’s no fault of the customer and they should not have to pay to return the item. Amazon should not allow this on their site. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS SELLER!!!!!

Unhappy
Driver side window won't go up when I use the auto power window button, I have to slowly put up the window so it doesn't come back down automatically. I'm in the automotive industry and have installed many vent visors before using this vendor and had no problem this is why I'm surprised this is happening. Going to call Customer service and see if I can get a replacement kit for free.
