High Quality Calf Raise Bar
Good height, well made and the device is square which means it won’t rock while you’re standing on it. I purchased other ones that were not square and had to return them. The paint finish is good and grips athletic shoes well. It is very sturdy and has a neatly welded construction. There are no burrs or unfinished surfaces. Very good quality. I would recommend.

Very slippery!
I really wanted to like this calf raise apparatus because it looks good and it seems to be well made and sturdy but it's extremely slippery at least for me because after every couple repetitions of standing calf raises using my lever machine I have to re adjust my feet and move them more forward constantly because my feet constantly want to slide out the back so I don't know if I need some different shoes or if this thing is just too slippery or what because I'm contemplating on sending it back for a refund and getting another one that hopefully is very similar but not nearly as slippery if possible but otherwise this thing looks good but when your feet keep slipping off that's not good at all obviously because you could potentially fall and it's hindering your workout as well, I did buy some sandpaper like tape stuff whatever you call it and put it on and it helped to make it less slippery so I raised the star up by 1 even though that had nothing to do with the original product but it's more usable now for me anyways!

Curved edges and excellent finish and construction make it the best calf-raise platform I've used
This is an absolutely fantastic calf-raise platform with an excellent finish, good welds, small footprint without compromising stability, adequate height (3.5") and, most important of all, rounded edges that make calf raises very comfortable on the soles of your feet.Calf raises are an extremely important but often neglected exercise, especially if you run or participate in any sports involving running (which is most land-based sports) or have knees problems. The key feature of this calf-raise platform is the very curved edges, which allow you to comfortably pivot on the soles of your feet without feeling a sharp pressure from the corner of the platform. It's more comfortable and curved than any other calf-raise platform I have used.At slightly under 2' long and 1' wide, it has a small footprint and you can leave it on the floor and ready to use, rather than having to lean it against a wall to save space. (I didn't notice any compromise in stability due to the small footprint.) It's 3.5" high, which I find ample to allow a full range of motion during calf raises. I you are very flexible or have very large feet, you might want more height. The unsloped portion of the platform is only 3.5" wide, which means that you will be doing the entire set on the balls of your feet, without being able to rest most of your foot on the platform between reps. I thought this might be a problem but it turned out not to be.The construction and finish are first rate. The finish is smooth without any imperfections and feels nice (though you probably won't handle it much). There is a slight downside to this--I slipped when trying to do raises in my socks, so you would need to cover it with something non-slip if that's what you want to do. But for raises in my workout shoes (I use Nike Metcons) or bare feet my feet don't slip. The ends of the platform are enclosed rather than open, which is a nice touch. The diamond pattern is not too deep so I don't feel it through my shoes and could comfortably do raises in my bare feet if I wanted to. The welds are very neat and seem robust. It comes well packaged with plastic wrap over the support legs. You need to push the four soft plastic (I'm guessing that's what they are made of) end caps onto the legs, which takes under 30 seconds. Otherwise, it comes fully assembled.I thought the price is very reasonable and that the calf-raise platform is a worthwhile upgrade from the one I had previously been using, which was the best I could find at the time I bought it. I hate to upgrade a serviceable piece of gym equipment (which could be an expensive and never-ending process) but calf raises are a key component of my strength training and knee prehab routine so I did.I would highly recommend this platform unless you need more than 3.5" of height, more than 3.5" of width, prefer a surface other than metal with a diamond pattern, or plan to do calf raises in your socks and don't want to modify the surface to make it more non-slip.

Replaces using a step
I ordered this to replace needing to use a step near my workout area at home. It was very easy to “assemble”. The only thing I need to do was slide on the rubber bottoms (four in all). The bar stays in place while using it. It doesn’t not tip when using it. The only thing is that it’s just slightly slippery. I wear training shoes to workout, so I don’t think it’s the bottom of my shoes. I can definitely continue using it and I’m sure I will be able to avoid my feet slowly slipping off. Very sturdy.

great for calf stretches
I've been trying to improve my calf raises, and this calf raise bar has been a great addition to my home gym. The wider, anti-slip platform is a huge plus—it feels very stable, even when I'm pushing myself. I appreciate the rounded edge design, which makes it comfortable to use, especially during longer sets. I've used it for both standing calf raises and some foot stretches, and it's made a noticeable difference in my routine. 💪 The 800 lbs capacity gives me peace of mind that it can handle whatever I throw at it; I've even been using it to help with some squats, and it's been great; this is a well-designed piece of equipment that’s helped me get some serious gains.
