Everything You Ever Wanted to Know About Epoxy Clay
Foxy Epoxy...what a great title for a great book! There are a number of titles that would fit this book - Epoxy Clay Made Easy, The Beading Queen Teaches Quick & Easy Epoxy Clay Designs, Learn Epoxy Clay Quick with Kristal Wick, or Learn How to Make Many Classy Epoxy Pieces from Ms Jewelry Herself. If you are interested in learning new epoxy clay tips, tempting techniques, tantalizing tricks, and fascinating fashion, this is the book for you. Ms Wick has a way of taking a gorgeous, complicated-looking design and breaking down the steps so that even the most novice creator can make something they will be truly proud of.Ms Wick has an impressive, extensive resume, and I sincerely enjoy her writing style. I like that she begins this book with basic epoxy clay instructions and information - it familiarizes the beginning clayer with the materials, and reinforces knowledge for those with more experience. Her tip to do your nails with UV polish - while curing your UV resin - made me chuckle. I love that small photos of each project are printed on the page opposite the table of contents. I also found the portion on mold making and casting to be very helpful - for epoxy clay...AND resin...AND polymer clay. Many of Ms Wick's ideas and concepts easily translate to other media. So let's move on to the best part...The projects! The eye candy alone is worth the price of this book...it is SCRUMPTIOUS! A few projects that really stand out...Charmalicious Bracelet/Necklace (pg 40) by Kristal Wick, In the Round Earrings (pg 46) by Candie Cooper, Boho Vintage Bangle (pg 50) by Kristal Wick, Aqua Daydream Bracelet (pg 66) by Katie Hacker, Embellished Watchband (pg 70) by Kristal Wick, Vintage Filigree Necklace (pg 124) by Debbi Simon...Ok, let's be honest. I would list just about every project in the book if I continued! There are so many interesting, diverse projects in the book...I can't get enough of the eye candy. Pure and simple. It's like the pages call to you to make that piece - and it's just about impossible to resist! The other great asset to this book are the twelve awesome designers who contributed pieces. I'm familiar with most of them and know the high level of amazing art they create. The Roundabout Necklace (pg 59) Margot Potter (or Madge, as she's known) contributed is way mod - chic, contemporary, and swank. The really awesome part? You don't need a ton of tools and extra supplies to make these cool pieces. If you are already into jewelry making, you'll have most of the suggested items. If not, many of the suggestions can be substituted with something you most likely have around the house. WOOT!The crème de la crème...the pièce de résistance...the hold-onto-your-hat piece? I find it to be a tie. Imagine that...TWO designs are so absolutely incredible that I find it impossible to choose. The Shadow Box Necklace by Debbie Simon (pg 128) and the Madonna Necklace - also by Debbie Simon (pg 121). These two projects make this book worth its weight in gold...if you add those two pieces to everything else in this book...your book is an amazing investment, on many levels!Bottom Line: Absolutely awesome - a typically well-written book by Kristal Wick. Fantastic
Foxy Epoxy is stunning. Each project is more beautiful and enticing than the last and there are so many of them! I didn't know one could make such luxurious, boutique-quality jewelry at home and am excited to get going on my first one, although it is hard to decide which to choose first. The photography is visually stunning, the project directions clear. This is one impressive book and I can only guess at how much time and effort went into it. It is a pleasure to see such quality work and at such a great price.

Make beautiful Classy jewelry Yourself!
I couldn't wait to get this book by Kristal Wick so I preordered it sight unseen! Kristal is a favorite jewelry artist of mine! Her work and keen eye for beautiful details is what I love most. After seeing the book I made a mad dash for the store and within hours had made her ring, pendants and more-Christmas gifts done! Epoxy Clay is so easy and fun my friends and I made a girls weekend just to create! A wonderful book for your creative library.

Great book!
There are very few books out yet on epoxy clay and I was thrilled to find one. This is a great book, it offers clear instructions and lots of projects. I really liked that many different ways of using the clay were shown. I liked it so much I bought another copy for a friend who is interested in this new medium. Much better than many of the self-help books published for consumers.

Beautiful Bling
I purchased this book because I took a class in Epoxy Clay and enjoyed it. There is no baking and not a lot of mess or clean up with Expoxy Clay. You can make some very beautiful items with crystals, wire, metal and a lot of different material and the curing time is 24 hours. Very innovative product and the book has a lot of very clever ideas.
