EXCELLENT VALUE SCANNER!!
I have been trying out this scanner for almost a full month now and have it to be on par with my $1,800 scanner minus the immobilizer capabilities which we don't need at our shop anyway. The main scanner handles that fine. This one on the other hand can do all the same resets and calibrations as the other without skipping a beat. It was a breeze resetting a newer Cadillac SUV's oil life reading to zero % after we completed the job. Very quick to identify the vehicle VIN through the same automatic identifying VIN procedure as the main scanner. They are even just as quick as each other.Used it on my 2021 Chevy truck easily, my 2021 Pacifica, our 2015 and 2016 Cadillac hearses and even the boss's new Hyundai SUV. It worked perfectly even with the Nissan Altima! Don't sleep on this scanner, it's amazing for the price!

A lot of tool for a small price.
I bought this to have as a home tool, I am a master technician but I don't like bringing my main scanner home. I was blown away by how much this tool can actually do. The autos can feature is fast and accurate, has a really nice amount of reset functions and bi directional controls is a huge plus. It's so good I've taken it to work and have been using it as my main tool. I honestly am suprised that it does so much at this price point. This is a tool you won't regret buying.

I HIGHLY recommend this scanner
I have to admit this is one of the most impressive automotive scanners I have ever used. I own an automotive repair shop and in an average week we diagnose about 25 to 30 vehicles. We are at all makes and model shop so we typically have on hand a few diagnostic scanners since there really isn’t a good solution in a single scanner. This Launch scanner really does it all. It scans ALL the systems. Don’t be fooled by other scanners who say they do all system scans. I’ve spent several thousands of dollars on other scanners and they will be limited in their scanning abilities.Additionally, the reset functions available on the scanner will pay for the scanner for itself within one month. There are certain vehicles where you cannot reset the maintenance indicator on the dash, without a proper reset scanner. After testing this on about 20 different vehicle models, there wasn’t a reason to switch to any other scanner and this has been our go-to scanner for all the vehicles that have come in to our shop over the last couple weeks.I HIGHLY recommend this scanner.

Great handheld scanner
Found this scanner to be a nice size and the touch screen to be a nice feature. I was able to use to pull codes and had a great response. Also was happy to find it come with a nice hard plastic case for storing it and any extra accessories.

One of the leading brands for quality scan tools that address most makes/models
This is a very capable scan tool for its price point and, in my opinion, is coming from one of the leading brands of scan tools which addresses most makes and models.Upon receiving this I tested it out and confirmed that it does work with AutoAuth accounts to read and most importantly erase codes on Stellantis vehicles which have a security gateway in place. Keep in mind that though the tool supports the AutoAuth functionality you do need to pay extra money per year to AutoAuth to have that capability. I could not test if it would work with the few Nissan gateways out there since I don't pay a subscription for that capability. The tool has a nice I/M readiness monitor check which runs quickly and is clearly presented. I confirmed that the tool came with a robust quantity of service functions (quantity does vary per vehicle) and I tested out and confirmed bidirectional capability. AutoVIN functioned work well though I suspect this functionality is tied to network access and an active subscription. The hardware of the tablet itself appears very well constructed the tool comes with a nice case.Though there may be a better way to get to a lot of the functionality, I found that you had to run a full scan before you could dive into a specific system (e.g. body control module) to see bi-directional capability, live data, codes specific to a module. I would really like to see topology interfaces come to these mid-priced tools.I was not very impressed with the OBD2 cable included with the tool. It felt cheap to me. I would have preferred to see a higher quality OBD2 cable included. I've used other scan tools which come with wireless OBD2 interfaces and I do prefer those to the hard cable this came with though a hard cable has two nice advantages over wireless.... one is that the tablet will charge itself while plugged into the vehicle and the other is that you are unlikely to forget/lose the hard wired cable like you can a wireless ODB2 interface. The update function of the tablet worked very well. I used many scan tools which had a clumsy update system versus what Launch has deployed.I am happy that the tool came with a hook for hanging the tool on the steering wheel since some scan tools are dropping this feature but I feel that the hook could have been better designed in that function.I am confident that this scan tool will address the vast majority of service functions I encounter. Note that I see no capability to ECU code, ECU program or address major ADAS functions/calibrations but I'd probably be favoring dealer handling of those functions anyway.
