Multi surface sensory cube.
I ordered this for my four year old grandson who is severely autistic, he is very much motivated in toys by the sensory nature of them rather than play value so he really loves the multiple surfaces on this cube. Each offers him a different texture to explore although I would be wary giving this to a very young child because of the sequins possibly coming off and being swallowed. Like a lot of autistic children he likes order and straight lines so his least favourite side is the sequin side especially if they are not all laying in the same direction.

Lots of different textures
The Magic Meadow Sensory Touch Toy arrived in a bag, it is a really good size and has six sides with a different texture on each one if feels well made and very soft, my child has autism and Sensory processing disorder and has taken to this toy straight away, he has spent a lot of time feeling the different textures and seems to really like the side with the two tone colours. The size is good and it is easy for him to carry with him.

My 2 year old loves this and so do I!
My 2 year old loves playing with this sensory toy, especially the sequined side which changes colour dependant on the way you move your fingers across the sequins. The sensory cube is soft and light, with each side having a different coloured texture to look at, touch and feel.I find it very calming to mess around with myself, but it's mainly my 2 year old who plays with it and enjoys stroking it and 'drawing' with the colour-changing sequins. It is fantastic and I highly recommend it, however I feel that £19.99 (at time of writing) is a little overpriced. I'd have probably expected the product to be more like £10-15.

Great textures
Yes, this does seem a little pricey, but...The cube is soft, and the gold/black sequin side is amazing. It doesn't scratch delicate skin and when moved the effect is artistic and compelling. The other sides all have great tactile qualities, but it's the sequin side that appeals most to the people I look after with dementia.Would recommend for autistic people as well as those with Alzheimer's. Great product.

Great sensory toy
My four month old grandson really likes this. He enjoys exploring all the different textures on it and it’s brightly coloured so definitely gets his attention.

Sensory touching block
This is bigger than I expected and is so lovely to feel/touch/play with. Ive found myself sitting stroking it, quite soothing. My daughter loves creating patterns on the sequin side. Would recommend

Sheds pieces
I have grave concerns about the safety of this sensory cube, and so will not be giving it to the intended recipient. The description on Amazon states that it is suitable for all ages, and is autism friendly but the leaflet that came with it says it is not suitable for children under 2, and it should be ‘handled with care’. It also has a warning that it should be kept away from fire and naked flames, and must only be used with adult supervision. The cube has a variety of interesting textures including fleece, fur fabric and sequins but the fur fabric shed easily, and the red ‘bobbles’ came undone with the slightest pull (see photographs). If chewed, (which young children, and those with SEN often do) I think pieces would detach very easily, especially the sequins, and these pieces could cause a choking hazard. The cube has a CE mark and is made in China. I wonder whether it could pass European and UK tests. It’s expensive, at nearly £20 and I would expect better quality.

Great idea but sheds fur
I have mixed feelings about this sensory toy. My daughter is 6 months and obviously younger than the recommended age of 2plus years. However she absolutely loves it. She grabs and throws and strokes it. The furry side is her favourite. My issue with this sensory toy for a child of any age is that it sheds fur like crazy and the red microfiber bits feel like they will come off. This also makes me question how secure the sequins are. Due to my daughters age I will only let her play with it under supervision. Although it's a great idea, due to the quality I feel it's over priced. I also question how vigorously it's been safety checked for the UK market.
