If you want it to look more realistic, you need to get latex and skin putty. They have separate kits for that..only a few bucs. .Put it around the tattoo scars on this kit or build your own with makeup, putty, and blood.

Q: Is the blood water based?

I don't know if it is water based or not, but it is a very good kit easy on easy off and looked great!
