I bought this in hopes of taking it backpacking. That won’t ever happen. These straps are so heavy, there’s no way I’d dream of packing it around. That’s really all I can say that’s negative about it. If you’re going to be using this in your back yard, at the beach or on car camping trips, this is more than enough to get that job done. The locking carabiners are super heavy duty (again, too heavy in weight for backpacking). I should really give this five stars- they just won’t work for what I wanted to do with them.

They are cheap. That is the best part about them. The 2 main issues that required me to set these up in a way that is not "typical." If you follow the instructions, you can hang a hammock about 3 or 4 feet away from whatever you are strapping to. This is because the hanging loops do extend the entire length of the strap. Depending on the size of your hammock, this can become a problem. I have 2 different sizes of Yucatan hammocks. They are quite long. So i had to install these straps differently. The second issue, mostly because of the Yucatan hammock hanging loops, is the carabiners. They are way too small to fit anything bigger than your middle finger through. So in my case, the carabiners are hooked only to the strap which i loop through the hammock loop. It all sounds very confusing i know, but i made it work. I would have probably returned them, but i am in Mexico now and that would be cost prohibitive.

We looked everywhere for a strap of some kind to hang hammock chairs with. No brand has this listed as a recommended use. We took a shot and ordered these. They are a great purchase! So much simpler to hang the chairs at the right height. So easy to take up and down like for camping. So durable! (I have 3 boys) To top it off, today we had a surprise storm with 16 mph and these babies held on and saved our chairs until we could safely get outside to take them down.I will both recommend and order more for my son's standard hammock!

I was really impressed with the quality and attention to detail in these camping hammock straps. They seem to be really well made. It's a snap to setup a hammock for relaxation or for camping and sleeping at night. It works in all sorts of situations and it the perfect size. I chose these over ones which were longer since the long ones a lot of times will hang in the mud or otherwise get in the way. These are the perfect size. I am so happy with the purchase and would recommend this product to anyone.

My daughter wanted a hammock with bug netting and we got her one. She loves it and the quality seems good. The only thing I can say is a "con" is the straps and bug netting ropes are short. We have lots of trees in our yard but we had to get an extra set of tree straps to add length, and will have to figure out something to lengthen or replace the bug net ropes but these straps were perfect and worked great!. Nice hammock straps!

I bought this for my Grand Trunk double hammock. I was worried that the carabiners would be too small for the thick straps on the hammock, but with a little wiggling I got them on fine and there was room still to hook them onto the tree straps. I just leave the carabiners on my hammock for easy hanging each time I use. They held me and my two children fine. Very happy with this purchase, especially for the price.

I purchased these hammock straps for my matrimonial sized Yucatan hammock after I tired of using rope. I couldn't have hoped for a better product. I was worried about cheap carabiners and thin straps to go along with the amazing price. Absolutely not the case with these carabiners and straps. This is a strong, solid, quality product. The carabiners also feature a screw lock for additional safety. Look no further than these hammock straps.

Sturdy, super easy to set up so you can rest in your hammock within minutes. Doesn't slide on trees. Would use these over paracord knot tying any day! Only downside- you lose the stated 10 feet when you have to wrap around a larger tree, otherwise great buy. If you are looking for something really long go for 30-40ft straps.
